Not the result I expected but well done the lads. Fish and chips on the way home and move on to our second 3 points in a week.
A massive three points.Well done the lads! A big effort is now needed to scrape a few more like that to take us away from the Bottom Six mini league.
Now that's more like it, real crucial win. Well done the lads Only thing I would add is that we still didn't score from open play but I'll take 3 points however they come at the moment....
How can I be disappointed with that result? Just messed up my entire weekend by not getting me any points on the guessit game that's all. Ugly wins accepted any time please.
The bottom six are gradually forming a league of their own (look at the goal difference). It is now a matter of ensuring we stay in the top three. As we have to play four of them at home I don't need to state the obvious
A win is a win, but I was very stressed after they scored. They probably wonder how they didn't win (Huddersfield) If Frankie hadn't saved that penalty things would have been very different. Sorry boys but although relieved by 3 points I am not confident and struggle to feel really positive.
"RED ROBIN" Where are you!.....and "REDPRINT" What you say about Frankie now. Frankie Fielding's in the building Aden Flint is having a party...sing along all true City fans...
Im here, busy day and night yesterday,no time to comment. Fantastic and unexpected three points, well done the team. Must say every point is so precious. Just watched the FLS,we done well. Still in the mire, and that was three points i did not expect. Derby and QPR next don't get much harder than that.
Great and unexpected result ! As Handy Andy says there is the start of a mini league with us and 5 other teams at the bottom end developing. We have 2 very tough games up next, would be chuffed with anything at all from these 2/ Well done SC and the boys but there is still a lot of hard work to be done over the next 26 games.
Given the money we were prepared to splash out on Gray and Gayle I hope we spend big and early in January. Lets hope we are doing our research now. Does anyone understand the difference between our budgets i.e. is there a separate "capital expenditure" budget for player transfers or is it all just one budget. If so I must confess to being at a loss to understand it
Personally think that funds will be made avaliable,SL cannot afford to see city go back to league 1. SC hopefully can turn it around, however i think that Huddys win was massive for him. Personally don't see much coming our way over the next five games.
With the Under 21s 8th out 10 and the Under 18s 10th out 10 I guess the cheque book is the only option. It seems we are never destined to be "football city".
