That was their final friendly Their season starts proper on tuesday Ours only just started And we all know we need signings Nothings changed We fight to stay up as is and the posts move depending on signings
But we've sacked the most highly regarded young coach in English football and replaced him with a twice sacked chancer from a minor league. What could possibly go wrong?
Derby lost to a 2nd div portuguese side Preston lost to southport and i cba looking Results in friendlies means **** all We can panic as we dont have any signings yet but todays game has no effect on anything except getting fitness
We looked much worse against Galatasary last year with arguably a better XI out. We only won because we got to play 30 mins against their under 11s
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Vaughan is absolute do ****e. I don't know what anyone saw in him.

Or some fully expected errors and difficulties in the play given it's our 2nd ever game playing this way, a heavily reduced squad and some players not even in their favoured position. It was naive to expect anything else, so as it's a pre-season game that is about bedding in a new style, ironing out difficulties and building fitness some are more inclined to take the positives yes.
That we wouldn’t call the team naive for the way we played in that game would we? What’s the point in playing a different way tonight to not get beat when the result quite literally doesn’t matter. Most worrying thing for me was how many of their heads went, Jones and Maka were just completely rattled when it quite literally didn’t matter. Were up against probably one of the best target men of recent history tonight though
Pre season games are as ever only about three things, get fit, don't get injured, don't get sent off. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
And I've said it before, Vaughan is the new Jamie Devitt and will most likely have a similar career. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.

Don't worry, I'll keep the faith for the first 10 games like I would any manager/squad. But I can't see how anyone taking positives from that isn't doing so out of blind optimism at the moment.
So highly regarded Scott Parker got chosen by Burnley over him. There’s about 5 coaches who play the same way as Rosenior, but he can talk a good game
