I’m happy with mid table this season, to me it’s relative success, we now need to push on, success for me next season would mean threatening the playoffs for most of the season, achieving it, or just missing out.
Playoffs would be nice but I too will be happy with mid table. It would take a particularly freaky series of results for us to be anywhere other than mid table come the end of the season.
Pearson has done a great job getting rid of 25 players whilst keeping us in the Championship. How he spends the Scott money will determine our position next season.
Die is cast last 10 games & 15 teams all with a chance all be it a squeaky one for top 6. Amazing how many teams have been in 6th thats why the figure of circa 70-72 points for 6tg has been maintained. Blackburn and Millwall lose 2 Norwich and WBA win 2 .... WBA 6th again! potentially 72 pts EOS in 6th
I’ve no interest if I’m honest, nor do I care who is too 6 unless it’s us, and although mathematically it’s still possible, in practice I think our chances are practically nil.
Yep, only taking 4 points from 3 games against 3 of the bottom 4 sides, tells us we don't have what it takes to be Play-Offs this year, even in the most unpredictable Championship for years. Had we taken 7 or 9 points, then we could have had a shout, but the gap is too big, and we have to play a lot of the teams higher up the league than us between now and May.
those games were the defining ones, maybe it was " a plan" dont reach the top 6 ... as next year we could win it....lol
How bad must QPR be if Blackpool are beating them 6-1. They were as poor a side as I have seen for a long time against us on Sat
