City's under 21's leading Ipswich 1-0 half time - Joel Colwill with the goal.

 

Callum Robinson started upfront and looks pretty sharp.

 

2 minutes into the second half and Ipswich equalise from a set play.

 

3 minutes in and they score a second to go in front.

 

Ipswich get 3rd with just over 10 minutes go and they deserve it - far better than us this second half.

 

Booo!!!

 

City Under 21's got a 2-2 draw yesterday at the jacks. Sawyers played the whole game and Robinson got another hour under his belt.....

Sawyers’ goal reminded me of a not dissimilar strike by Joe Ledley away at Swansea

 

Cian Ashford and Joel Colwill both starting for under 23's this afternoon, so neither will feature in City's squad for tomorrow.

 

Not sure why Ashford has been getting splinters in his rear on recent first team match duty. Either bring him on or leave him free to play for the U-23’s.
