I see the U21s beat Reading yesterday 2-1.

From the brief highlights there seemed to be some good play.
Apart from when he flapped at the cross that led to their goal our keeper seemed solid.
Agree about the 2nd goal. Vision and composure.

Had to look at the sending off a couple times to work out what happened.
Unbelievable.

Reading player kicked out at City player - and it was a really wild kick too! Ref gave him a yellow card and then a player melee ensued.

Didn't see the guy given the yellow involved in that at all, but the ref then called him over, retracted the yellow and gave him a straight red instead.

Still don't know why he changed his mind unless he was being advised by others. Have they got comms with other officials for the under 21's?

Imagine a ball coming in waist high and a striker trying to volley the ball and keep it down.
Except there was no ball, just our player's thigh.

Our keeper had to hold our guy back as he was ready to deck their player.
A right melee.
