Re-split the money as needed but I think 10-15 would need to be devoted to our strike force if we want to be serious. I guess 2m could be the loan fee + wages for Musa just about.

I think the 33% are probably voting with the thought that the money will not be re-invested. Let's be honest, they are showing form on not re-investing the money we have brought in so far.

£500m could pay the ****s every penny they've put in and leave more than £400m for team strengthening and new training facilities.

Let's hope Burnley bid that, I think we'd accept.

If we are going to lump some big money on a striker, I'd still have a flutter on someone like Paddy Madden. High energy centre forward with a decent career goal return.

I think we should gazump Cardiff and go for Omar Bogle. Warnock knows how to spot a rough diamond.

Not done anything at Wigan, which has surprised me. A Grimsby Town fan I know through a friend said he's a handful, rough diamond that can certainly play at a higher level. I'd take Bogle.

Manager doesn't want him, it's hard to impress in that scenario.

I was pushing him for a job on here that wasn't us, think it was Sunderland but not sure. He's a brilliant manager at this level and might even be good at the Prem if he was backed sufficiently. If he had Newcastle's squad last season they'd have won every ****ing game.

I heard yesterday that in the same period of time that Bruce has spent £70+m, Colin has spent £2.5.

What If we got £20 million and the allams trousered it but it made a sale of the club more likely as their asking price became more realistic?

The job he did at Rotherham the other year was fantastic.

While it would be nice clubs rarely do that do they?
How much have Southampton trousered over the last five years? They certainly haven't gone out and bought the equivalent

I know transfers are ridiculous this summer - £10m for a Cardiff youngster who has played 6 months being one example - but if we got £20m for him it would be mental. Even in today's market I'd put him at £12m max and would be happy with £20m for him and Grosicki if we spent it on 2 full backs, 2 wide midfielders and a striker.

Thing is it trickles down. A club has a decent left back and burton come in for him it'll be 500 grand. We come in for him and it will be 3 or 4 million.

That's right. We can't expect ridiculous fees for a player and then expect to complete good deals for 5 players with that.

That would do for me (if guaranteed sale came out of it)

Unfortunately, after Tuesday's injury, it's only effectively £10m.
