Money talks? There hasn't even been any confirmation he wants to go, and it's clearly in the clubs best interest to push him out if we can't shift either of the others.
some on here'd moan if we pull Lessters pants down and spank em. Personally I think EA is giving Slut 1st refusal on whether Jak is any good and can use him and if he can convince him to stay to be our number one or whether he would like to be a number 2 again.
People are still getting wound up by journalists reporting on the club with anything less than constant positivity. As if North Korean style insistence that everything is always fine would be preferable. Baffling that with all the problems at the club, the thing that really upsets some is a local journalist reporting a bid for one of our players.
**** off nobody has bid for Jak and nobody ever will it's pointless **** stirring in attempt to take the shine off what has been a most fabulous day.
Sunderland are desperate for a new keeper, I'm really not sure why we haven't tried flogging Marshall to them, would be the definition of a win-win-win transfer.
I think what dd was saying it was how it's delivered. Finally some good news, but then straight back into bad. How about with two excellent goalies jaks time here is coming to an end. Etc etc
With out going off on one syd. When you're here and you live in hull. You get a bit sick of the local media being constantly negative about every part of us and ultra positive about every facet of drugby league. Now back to the transfers
If you say so, from what I've seen Buckingham seems pretty level headed and I never understand the abuse he and other journalists cop from people who criticise them either of making things up, or not talking about us enough; of not standing up to the Owners, or being too negative about the club; of not having any transfer news, or bringing it up at the wrong time. Seems they're on a hiding to nothing.
Buckingham always seems to have a information about players leaving but never gets a rumour of an incoming player right. But there is a reason for that I guess.
I happily praise when it's deserved, but then I regularly criticise them for not standing up to the owners .... because they deserve criticism. It took them (HDM and RH) an eternity to even edge ever so slightly off their fences last season, and even then it was a token effort Right now they should be holding the owners accountable, asking the big questions, like WTF is going on ("90% done before 1st July", "signingS before we jet off to Portugal", "where the **** is the money going", etc etc They should be trying to get answers from the owners, / the club, and if answers aren't coming they should still be asking the questions in big bold back page (or even front page) headlines or newstories. Instead, we get next to nowt other than the drivel in the sports news and sports talk. They are failing their readership / listenership massively and not doing their job.
Well I live here and I don't have that problem at all. I think there's far bigger issues to worry about surrounding our club. The fact that so many players want to leave, particularly to other clubs in our division with less resources than us, is a big one.
