The funniest thing today was one of the Leeds commentators saying Grosicki had really impressed in the Premier League and that he was surprised he kept with us. How out of touch can you be? They recognised that Bowen has had a good season though failed to mention that he was also very good last season.

The YP is reporting that "£12 million rate Jarrow Bowen is attracting the interest of Tottenham Hotspur" - would be a brilliant move for him but, is he really good enough to get into a top end PL team?

In one word. No.

Although I see Grosicki been linked with Lisburn again. Zzzzz.

Elphick already gone, two or more left on Ehabs list!

Currently? Probably not.

However, he has scored 10 goals this year in a struggling side and 13 last season on the wing so he clearly has a lot of potential. You look at Lookman who went to Everton from Charlton he hadn't scored a goal in the Championship and he cost 12m. Admittedly he was younger but his record is poor in comparison.

We are quick to write players off but I think Bowen at 12m is probably a risk worth taking for Spurs. A proven player costs £70m these days, it's worth taking a risk at £12m if you are Spurs because if it comes off he is worth a lot lot more and you have got yourself a bargain.

Robertson was still very raw here, maybe he needed better coaching. Let's not forget we sold Clucas for over 15 million, but you may get higher prices in the Summer than in the January window. The January window would more be about the Allams just trying to cash in on whatever money they can get for themselves rather than benefiting the club.

Did we **** sell Clucas for over £15M, silly ****.

I know you won’t see this but it still makes me feel better.

Now **** off!

I was talking to a Man City scout last year at our home game against Norwich - he suggested that the big teams tend to buy up promising young players at what, by their standards, are bargain basement prices. They rarely intend to play them themselves but aim to develop them and eventually move them on for significant profits - at 8 to 10 million pounds someone might just see Bowen as a good. Investment.

Actually, we did. They had a bid of £12m rejected - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40972835

Then they came back with a £15m bid, which we accepted. The bid was £15m with £1m in add ons (£16m) We signed Kingsley as part of it.

Stoke City have signed Swansea City midfielder Sam Clucas on a four-year contract for a fee of about £6m.

The former Hull player, 27, had been close to a move to Burnley but that deal collapsed as the Clarets could not agree personal terms with Clucas.

The midfielder was signed from Hull in August 2017 in a £16m package, which involved Stephen Kingsley going the other way.

Stoke lost their opening Championship match of the season to Leeds on Sunday.

Is he going to march to London?

Although undisclosed it’s believed Leicester paid Norwich £20m for James Maddison. Same age as Bowen.

Maddison 15 goals in 47 games for Norwich.
Bowen 24 goals in 74 games for us.

A goal every 3 games in the Championship.

Similar records so the price for Bowen should start at £20m. Ehab will sell for £6m...<doh>

Bowen should be worth more than Maddison for not being a ****.
