they've already said that they'll look into deals like that and only include the true value of sponsorship deals.

lets just hope they stick to their word

Yeah.........

And there is no racism in football
And Sepp Blatter is going to be forced out of office.
And Russia and Quatar were the best World Cup bids
And renaming Stadia is the way forward for football
And it was all a mix-up with Carloz Tevez in Munich
And Andy Carroll is worth £35m
And Samuel Et'oo is worth £350k per week

Face it, lads. Life is like a **** sandwich.
The more bread you've got, the less **** you have to eat!

They bought Man City to increase the global awareness of Abu Dhabi in the same way that the Qatarian Investment Company was trying to buy football clubs as well and ended up with Paris St Germain.

They don't see this as an investment. It's a marketing tool.

im stunned that u actually think they are expecting a return....

they are just in this for a laugh, the money they will loose is peanuts to them

Ok what happens when he eventually sells up and nearly everyone working at the club is on at least 100k a week? Unless another massively wealthy tycoon arrives then someone will have to pay the big stars 250k a week with maybe not even half the wealth mansour has.

Then the big players will leave in the next window and by that time the club will still be making losses. Either way the fans and the club lose out here.

And the owners give a toss why?

What do you think will happen?

that's asuming that they can find someone with enough money to buy a football club and who is happy to invest in a company that would be running at a financial loss of £tens of millions per year!!

I don't think that they will just be able to sell man city and walk away.
