Not from the replay I watched he wasn't. Standing right in front of the home fans jumping up and down staring directly at them doesn't constitute running to your own fans to me. Your opinion may indeed differ.

So it must have been the United fans that threw it at him then.

So what? Why do you care?

This is a multi club forum, he can post where he likes & I'm sure sometimes there's an element of wumming to it, but isn't that the entire point of a multi club football forum? Banter? Rivalry? a bit of a laugh?

    Lighten up ffs

You've completely missed the point which is understandable considering you've only just seen this, but you should be more informed next time. It gets tiresome when you see he is in so many of our topics and every single one of his posts is negatively aimed towards Chelsea and purely posted to antagonise, wind up or break up the discussion. He's not interested in joining into any proper debate or showing an unbiased opinion. He's never posted anything in our favour, just to disagree with us and say we're in the wrong and dish out insults. I can't consider someone like this as a rival as they don't seem to care about their team at all, only interested in hating Chelsea. I'm all for banter and having a laugh, but there gets to a point where you realise there is something seriously obsessive with this individual.

I know you studied the replay as it was a UTD player getting abused and that must of made your sad day complete.
1)The object came from the side.
2)As confirmed on Sky News this morning, he was in front of the UTD fans.
To be honest, i'd expect this from a few of you because your blind hate for UTD crosses the bounds of decency.
You lot can dish it out, but when it comes back you can't take it.

Just been shown on Sky Sports News. Rio was in front of the United fans in the corner section of the ground. The object was thrown from the left of him ie where the nearest City fans to the United fans were.

So basically the inexcusable is confirmed as inexcusable but will no doubt continue to be defended by some.

Actually another 5pu1s cock up made my day. If what you said is true though then despite what you may think of the person who threw it, you have to take your hat off and admit it was a good shot though at the very least?

RCL there's a massive difference between the incidents though.

For one Jose was provoked all game by Liverpool fans who were sat behind the dugout, he was just giving it back.

The WHL incident was different as it was on the middle of the pitch, not celebrating in front of either set of fans.

DL, the main difference was that Rio was celebrating in front of his own fans.

Don't forget he's also the brother of someone who is provocatively black and deserves to be pelted with coins for that reason alone. Now close thread!

You still get it though and I highly doubt it will leave the game... When MK Dons played Wimbledon last week, Wimbledon fans did 10k worth of damage to the stadium. Ripping up seats etc. Outside the grounds you still get it. When Leeds played Man Utd in the cup a couple of years ago there was a lot of trouble etc. We play Leeds in a week and I would be very surprised if nothing happens at Elland Road. When derbies and huge rivalries are being played then anything can happen really and that was shown yesterday.
