    Stes tips -

1600 bath- LADY DREAMER 6/1 (0.5 point EW win)

Runner up on her first two starts last year before returning this year after a long lay off and wind surgery to finish 4th when a 10/11 fav, beaten favourite on her two runs after finishing runner up in both at short odds with multiple winners coming out of those but she made no mistake on her third start of the year at Windsor with the second and third both winning nto, decent third upped in class back over that CD on her next start but she has gone a bit backwards on her two starts since finishing near the back in class 4s but she comes here with her mark untouched and Farragher rides for the first time claiming 3lb putting her 4lb lower than her last win and she's back down in class here with conditions in her favour in a weak looking race, the favourite Buccabay looks the obvious main danger.

    1645 Uttoxeter- CAN'T BEAT HISTORY 10/3 (1 point win)

Nothing to shout about over hurdles but he was an impressive winner lto on just his second start over fences winning by 14 lengths in this class over 2m 5f last month at market Rasen and although he's 0-2 over this distance he's unexposed and looks like he could improve further off a 7lb higher with Lee Edwards retaining the ride for the yards only runner of the day.

1440 Carlisle- INDICATION CALL 6/1 (1 point ew)

Indication call finished a decent third lto at Hamilton staying on well with one of the owners other runners winning but he's dropping from a class 2 to a class 5 here aswell as being dropped 1lb and also has Wilkie on board taken off a further 7lb and his sole win came on this surface, still looks like he has more to come and this looks the best chance of a winner out of the owners three runners in this, already been nibbled at in the markets from 7s but still just about eachway value and worth chancing.

Aidans done some Doncaster tips for us today!

I will be back tomorrow guys

    1.15 - SPEEDACUS 10/1 (0.5 point EW)

We’ve got 4 places to play with here but looks a tough race to call with most of these having best form on good or quicker. SPEEDACUS has most recently won on soft but all his wins have come over 5f, he’s got something to prove now back at 6f but looks the best each way option in this field.

    1.50 - CRY FICTION 25/1 (0.5 point EW)

Looks to be a bit of big price in my opinion, although she’s struggled in Group 3 company the last twice she has picked up a runner-up spot in a Listed event at Newmarket on only her second start. Never ran on soft so it’ll be interesting to see how she goes today on her handicap bow but 4 places on offer she’s worth taking a chance on.

    3.00 - DARNATION 11/8 (1 point win)

Not overly confident on anything in this race as you can make a claim for almost all of them including HARD TO RESIST who finished 2 lengths behind our selection in a Group 3 at Goodwood but was hampered that day and could do better here. However, DARNATION just keeps on improving and both of her wins have come on soft ground, should be suited by this extra furlong and she looks the one to beat again here.

    3.35 - CRACK OF LIGHT 12/1 (0.5 point EW)

CRACK OF LIGHT has a pretty solid record including in Group 2 and 3 company. Won a Listed event at Longchamp in June before posting 2 fine efforts in July and August, finishing runner-up in a Group 2 at Longchamp before finishing 3rd in a Group 3 at Deauville. Looks to hold strong each way claims again today.

    4.10 - KINGFISHER KING 7/2 (1 point win)

Holds firm figures of 212 which shows his solid record so far at Novice level. Pulled clear of the remainder when a neck runner-up at Hamilton on latest start but posted a very useful RPR that day, looks the sort that will likely improve further and do well in handicaps and could be the biggest threat to the favourite here.

UK TIPS best of the rest from Ste ✅️

    1635 Epsom- ECTOCROSS 5/2 (1 point win)

Poor form on his first three starts for previous yard but he got off to a winning one for this stable returning from a break earlier in the year over 1m 2f at Lingfield and he didn't run to badly nto at Nottingham over the same distance finishing third, not in the same form on his next four starts but he ran well to win on his first visit here over two furlongs shorter with the one behind winning upped in class since, returned here on his next start upped in class to finish a good runner up with the winner of that following up and he goes off the same mark here down in class with similar conditions, Shepherd jumps back on board having ridden him to a win on stable debut and he's the only course winner in the field.

1930 Chelmsford- BATAL DUBAI 10/3 1 point win)

Batal was 2-2 on the AW before a lesser effort lto at Newcastle with the drop back to 5f probably against him there & I think you can probably ignore his last place finish on his start before at Ascot, dropped 1lb after that latest effort and he's just 2lb higher than for his latest win in July with the return to 6f in his favour and the drop back down in class is also a positive, Muscutt takes the ride for the first time for the yards only runner on the card and if the race falls right then he should go close.

    2.40 - PENGUIN ISLAND 8/1 (0.5 point EW)

She came from off the pace when breaking her duck at Chepstow in July and since she’s ran creditably in defeat. Has cheekpieces applied for today and with 4 places on offer she holds each way claims.

    3.15 - OUR GOLDEN ONE 7/1 (0.5 point EW)

I can’t work the market out here, FRANKELIAN is 13/8 favourite yet still has 1.5 lengths to find on our selection so for me our selection being an each way price and previously beating the favourite I’d see that as decent value. Todays stiffer course will help and should come on from that debut run. Looks a solid each way shout.

    4.25 - PRISCILLA’S WISH 12/1 (0.5 pint EW)

Won five on the bounce last season and won another two this season over 7f on the AW and 6f at Yarmouth. Never really had a liking for Newmarket but didn’t run badly there last time and it’s hard to rule her out here.

Ste - two from Ste today…

1720 Doncaster- DAPPERLING 12/1 EW (0.5 point ew)

Followed/tipped dapperling since her debut back in April at kempton where she finished 5th in a class 4 with the winner of that since winning in listed company, runner up on her next three starts with a few from those tackling group company since but he made no mistake at the minimum trip nto when getting off the mark at Lingfield on her fifth start dropped in class with the runner up winning there next two starts including in listed company aswell as finishing a good third in a group 3 at longchamp last month, build on that upped from a class 5 to a class 2 to finish runner up yet again this time in a 20 runner race at Newbury at 33/1 for us when headed by Relief Rally close home who has followed that up with a group 2 win at York pretty comfortably and are selection didn't run to badly on her next start when again staying on well to finish fourth with the one infront going on to win a group 3 and two behind that day have also gone in since, latest race was probably her worst run yet finishing last of 22 in a tough class 2 at York but that run looked to bad to be true and the form of the rest of her career starts are hard to ignore, drops back down to a class 4 here so should find things easier and she's 1lb lower than for her 4th place finish in class 2 company two starts ago with Voikhansky who won on his only ride on board jumping back in the saddle with his 5lb claim making her just 2lb higher than when being chased home by the future group 3 winner Relief Rally, doesn't look like there's anything special in this field and if bouncing back then she could go close at a eachway price.

1520 Chester- TWO AULD PALS 3/1 (1 point win)

Been one of my favourite horses this year Auld pals as he's another I've followed since debut, it was the fact he was dropped into listed company on debut that got me following him he was a 100/1 shot there and it was on the 14th attempt (Also my lucky number) that he finally got his head infront and he hasn't looked back since with his form since reading 11221 the latest of those wins coming at Hamilton over 1m 5f upped to class 4 company were he stayed on well with the runner up winning nto upped to class 2 company, 4lb higher here tackling a new trip but he's won over shorter & further recently and he's versatile ground wise, in top form and should go well again with Graham Lee retaining the ride, wonderwall is another in me tracker that I was following over jumps but has two seconds from his three flat runs and could improve now handicapping and the other main danger I think would be the stablemate of are selection Baez who was an impressive winner lto and goes for the four timer off a just a 3lb higher.

    VIP DONCASTER

    1.50 DONCASTER - MONEY BACK IF 2nd/3rd - WAR ROOMS 5/2

WAR ROOMS has group 1 entries so needs to win this or he can write those off. Well bred and won here at C&D by 5 lengths on debut and if you watch that run you will see he simply demolished them with plenty left in the tank. Looks a good prospect but so do a few others here in fairness. Massive step up in class from 5 to 1 but the only horse in this line up with Group 1 entries ahead other than O Briens BATTLE CRY. That horse is definitely the danger in my opinion and has won already at class 2. Hard race this one really as pretty much all the horses in the line up are potential improvers and if it wasn’t for the money back offer I’d probably avoid having a bet altogether.

    2.25 DONCASTER - BIG EVS 7/2

14th place LT, just draw a line underneath that Nunthorpe run, he’s back down in class here and gets the ground he had at Ascot - where he put to bed some decent horses. It’s a shame the second in that race JOHANNES BRAHMS was unable to frank that form further today but it was a big ask carrying so much weight and it wasn’ exactly a bad effort finishing 3rd. BIG EVS will bounce back tomorrow just hopefully can do enough to win this.

I track KYLIAN and very fond of him. I felt he was very unlucky at York in the Gimcrack as he was hindered 3 or 4 times. The danger horse for me and Ryan Moores back on board he can weave his way through the eye of a needle if he wants to so I think KYLIAN will be going very close. 5/1 currently so good value for a saver as a win bet I think and thats what I'll be doing.

    3.00 DONCASTER - COLTRANE 5/4 - 1 point win

Should be too good for anything. I can’t see TRUESHAN beating COLTRANE again even if TRUESHAN gets heavy ground. More worried about SWEET WILLIAM beating COLTRANE to be honest as I still thin this horse is unexposed. They are likely 1-2 here. Sad to say but I think TRUESHANS best days are behind him. I don;t think the value is there for a 2 point bet and I think SWEET WILLIAM can make a race of this if not too soon. I just think COLTRANE is the best of this lot and wins.

    4.10 DONCASTER - REINA DELA MAR 11/2 - 1 point EW - 2 paid

CHERRY finally popped the maiden tag after flopping at prices as low as 4/11. This is evidently a decent horse running for powerful connections and it’s well rated. It was hard not to be impressed by that win, and I’d be all over CHERRY if it wasn’t for REINA DEL MAR has the experience on her side against these 3 year olds and despite being up 10lbs for her latest win (a massive rise) she can go in again under Saffie Osbourne. Watch what she did at Newmarket LTO on soft and you will see exactly why I’m backing her tomorrow.

    4.45 DONCASTER - GWEEDORE 9/1 - 5 paid - 0.5 EW

Last at Thirsk when last seen going off favourite trying to complete a hat trick. Very tame effort from GWEEDORE. It’s forecast soft tomorrow and GWEEDORES record on soft makes it hard to see him outside the places. He’s won numerous times at this level but his soft / heavy ground record is ridiculous. He might be able to upset a few here. Lots of experience, heavily raced he has 7 wins on G-S and plenty of places. If it dries up? No problem. He can do a job on good ground too.

    VIP SATURDAY

Absolutely no denying we have had a terrible week guys. No shying away from that, lets hope we can make a profit. Please bare in mind there's no guarantees so please stick to stakes and lets hope we come out in the green today. There's no point sticking the boot in when we are having a rough period lads - we will come out of it whether you stick around or not is entirely up to you but we aren't going anywhere. We will work harder until the results come - it's simple as tha!!

There will be a few more for BATH and CHESTER posted up before 12.30 am for the members at both tracks.

    2.25 DONCASTER - CALL ME GINGER 7/1 & INTRINSIC BOND 221 - 7 places paid sky 0.5 EW

SKY have 7 paid for this race so I’ve had a go on both CALL ME GINGER and TEES SPIRIT. Jim Golide is in top form and is producing some big runs with his mounts in the past week. CALL ME GINGER won at Ascot last week and is up 4lbs for the effort. Still has a good chance here despite that rise in the bid for the hat trick. INTRINSIC BOND is as big as 25/1 on 365 but 22/1 for the 7 places. I track this horse and happy to put a line through a poor effort at York where he went off 4/1 favorite. He was 2nd and 1st in previous races at this class level so I feel he’s well overpriced at 22/1.

    3.00 DONCASTER - SPYCATCHER 11/8 - 2 point win

Pulled from last weeks sprint cup SPYCATCHER is the pick on the form here today and should be very hard to beat. He goes well on soft and was literally a short heard away from winning the group 1 Prix Maurice when last seen in August. He won a group 3 easily at the same track previous to this and hasn’t really put a foot wrong this year. Conditions are right for SPYCATCHER today and hopefully he can get the job done!

    3.35 DONCASTER - CONTINUOUS 3/1 - 1 point win & CHESSPIECE 11/1 0.5 EW - 4 places paid

4 places paid with only 9 runners here make it tempting to take on those at the top of the market. I’ve done my EW saver with CHESSPIECE who I think is a good price at 11/1 with 4 paid on sky. James Doyle on board and brings very solid form into the race.

All eyes will be on Frankie Dettorgi who may well of handed the Leger over to Kieran Shoemark by jumping off GREGORY onto ARREST. Gosden yesterday outright said that GREGORY will not like the ground. He went off 8/11 at York but that trip was too short for him and he should going very close today now back to this longer trip. GREGORY has lots going for him today other than the ground which he is unproven on, that could be his comeuppance. I’m finding it hard to see how ARREST wins but don’t let that put you off if you fancy Frankie. I just think looking at the form he is held at this level and has failed at Group 2 and Group 1 previous to this. CONTINUOUS hasn’t been seen at 1 mile 6, which is my biggest concern for the pick today. With that said he had ears pricked and wasn’t stopping at the line when winning at York, he has beaten ARREST already and quite convincingly, he is bred to get the distance so lets hope he can and the York run wasn’t a fluke as the horse looked pretty special on the day.

    5.20 DONCASTER - DUTCH DECOY 10/1 - 5 paid 0.5 EW

Not much needs to be said here, horse owes us nothing this season. We have had a nice win from him and plenty of places. We will stick with him.

    VIP LINGFIELD AND MUSSELBURGH

    3.08 LINGFIELD - AMBEINTE AMIGO 1/1 - 1 point win
    4.55 LINGFIELD - BOBBY ON THE BEAT 22/1 - 4 paid 0.5 EW

AMBIENTE AMIGO is short, i’ve had him sent as INFO today but already tracked after last run in August and been waiting to see him back out. Should be winning this at this price just a shame he’s not got more meat on the bone for a bigger bet.

The only win that BOBBY ON THE BEAT has at class 5 came at Lingfield. He might be a bit out of his depth in this company but I’m happy to pay to find out at this price 22/1. 4 places paid he usually runs on well with horses to aim at. He’s back well up in trip today but has won at 7 furlongs so it shouldn't be too much of a hindrance.

    BOBBY ON THE BEAT

    5.25 MUSSELBURGH - DIANARA 11/10 - 2 point win

Looks very winnable this for DINARA who made debut over in Deauville. Although 4th on debut it was a solid effort when finishing 4th and all 3 of the horses that beat him that day have gone on to either place or win. That run was a good bench mark and the trainer looks to have found a winnable race here for DIANARA today.

    1500 Redcar- BIRKENHEAD 11/2 EW ( 1 point ew)

Only visited this track twice placing once that coming over CD a couple years ago in a class 4 off a 10lb higher & he's only won once this year from 8 starts although he has finished runner up the last twice and Sextons claim puts him just 1lb higher than for his last win who has won twice on board and two that were behind him on his last two starts have won nto, was only beaten half a length on his latest start and he's won or placed in 8 of his 11 starts in this company with half of his wins coming on this surface, the yard are over due a winner and have 4 runners in this with this I think looking the strongest in a weak looking race and you can just about get eachway with four places on offer.

1930 Newcastle- LOVE YOUR WORK 15/2 EW (1 point ew)

On a bit of a losing streak this one having not won from his last 11 starts but he returns from a short break 1lb below his last winning mark on the AW dropped in class after finishing 6 of 7 over CD back in June and although not winning here in 9 visits he has placed in 4 of them, he's ran well after a similar break in the past, has gone close a few times this year and he was runner up over CD last year off a 5 lb higher in a class 4 so he's definitely capable at this level of this mark, worth a eachway for the local yard who's horses are running well.

    2.30 SANDOWN - WHISKEY PETE 6/4 - 1 point win

Kingdom of Time should improve and follow WHISKEY PETE home, ran quite well in defeat and looks like a horse that is capable of better and a winner in waiting. Hopefully he waits a little bit longer and allows WHISKEY PETE to shed his maiden tomorrow. This Ralph Beckett horse has done very little wrong in defeat and well backed in last time before finishing 3rd at Haydock. The second place TOUCH THE MOON went on to win and the winner MAFNOOD went up in class and came second a 1/4 length away from the winner. The Balding horse DAMBUSTER might be a good one, certainly well bred out of Kingman but hopefully he’s held on debut and WHISKEY PETE is good enough to get up for Rossa Ryan.

    3.40 SANDOWN - CHINDIT 3/1 - 1 point win

I think the markets underestimate CHINDIT again tomorrow and 3/1 looks good value to go against the exciting KNIGHT. The big issue is conceding 9lbs to the Crisford horse but this is essentially a step down from the group 3 win where we backed CHINDIT the other week. He won that nicely with plenty in hand against a horse that has been running well in group 1 company. As much as some of these are unexposed, KNIGHT especially - you would still imagine CHINDIT will ultimately be too good. He’s running off a career high mark but in beatable company.

    3.45 YARMOUTH - AL ASFIAH - 10/11 - 1 point win

Short price but this is an exciting one. She was thrown into the Ribblesdale and came 6th, a notoriously difficult Group 2 Ascot race to win. She went off favourite against the likes of WARM HEART who has just won a group 1 in france. She is very good and definitely one to follow. This drop in grade should she her winning again in my opinion despite the fact there's some other good prospects in the race. No value for a big bet but worth a go and definitely worth watching this race at Yarmouth.

    LONGSHOTS

    4.50 SANDOWN - MISS DOLLY ROCKER - 10/1 - 3 paid. 0.5 EW

After proving herself at class 3, MISS DOLLY ROCKER looks a nice price here. Although she had the benefit of a 5lb claim for that second place in the racing league, the experience of Rob Hornby might be what the doctor ordered to get this consistent horse into the winners enclosure again. With no offence to Rob, I’d prefer rain as she runs best on soft but has proven herself in most conditions. Rain is predicted overnight at Sandown so don’t be surprised to see a going change tomorrow and the price shorten up.

    5.45 BEVERLEY - BILLY ROBERTS 13/2 - 3 paid - 0.5 EW

Caught the eye LTO when second and runs off only 1lb higher today at the track he has won on 4 times. Billy Loughrance takes charge tomorrow and he seems to be arriving back at his beloved Beverly at the right time, off a fair mark and in good form. Can do the business stepping up in class.

One from Ste - dolly rocker is a NR today.

1505 Sandown- THE LINE 13/2 EW (1 point ew)

Tricky race this with a fair few newcomers in the field including the Godolphin favourite which cost 1,600,000 gns but I think it's worth chancing Hannons The Line who I thought was quite impressive on debut over 5f at Ascot, showed inexperience before the race and was slow out the stalls but he stuck to the task well coming home strongly inside the final furlong to finish third with the two infront going on to tackle listed and group company on there next few starts (runner up action point has won a listed contest since), didn't look like he was pushed to hard there and I think the step up to 7f furlongs will suit going by that start. Has refused to race on his two starts since which is a bit of a negative and he's entered in a maiden on friday but he's no doubt got plenty more to come with the 7f looking the way to go and he drops down in class here on his first start since being gelded, worth a eachway.
