Be lucky 2:50 pm Newton Abbot - First Angel 5/4(3 Points) 3:45 pm Ayr - American Affair 50/1 Each Way(1 Point)
VIP TUESDAY We have these for VIP tomorrow. Aidan has covered these for us as I’m busy tomorrow morning. I will have a NAP for us tomorrow! Good luck all…. BEVERLY 2.00 - BLUFFERONTHEBUS 16/1 (1 point EW) Taking a slight chance on this one here and it’s the George Boughey favourite that’s the one to beat however, Craig does quite well with his 2 year olds and has a record of 4-16 here (3-70 everywhere else) including a newcomer over this course and distance in the spring. Her siblings didn’t make a mark until sent handicapping but looks to be overpriced and could be worth a small each way. 3.10 - FIFTY SENT 7/1 (1 point EW) Been a fairly consistent sort and has had a series of good runs for his new yard this year including a success at Newcastle in May on the AW. Placed twice on fast turf since then but also has form on good to soft and looks to hold solid each way claims here. LINGFIELD 2.15 - NO DIGGITY 12/1 (1 point EW) All wins have come between 6f and 1m on the AW but two creditable efforts when upped to 1m2f at Brighton on last two starts finishing 4th of 9 last month and 3rd of 8 earlier this month. Blinkers have been re-applied and will need them to sharpen him up a bit for this but looks to have an each way chance. 3.25 - BIT HARSH 5/2 (1 point win) Been progressing nicely in AW handicaps winning three times between December and February before coming back from a 4 month break to finish a good 3rd five weeks ago at Southwell. Steps up in trip today which could prompt some further progressive and looks the one to beat. 4.00 - LEGAL BEAT 20/1 (1 point EW) There isn’t a lot to go on in this field really however, LEGAL BEAT I would personally say looks overpriced for this one. Tan a cracking debut race at Newbury on good to firm when sent off at 125/1 to finish 3rd of 15 but couldn’t follow that up back there when finishing last of 5 when upped to 7f. That step up in trip could’ve come to soon though and drops back down in trip today to 6f and could possibly confirm that debut promise that was shown.
VIP WEDNESDAY Aidan has done some long shots for us again today ! I will have a few bets out by 12pm and also golf for tomorrows open ✅ CATTERICK 2.52 - JAMIL 13/2 (1 point EW) Three time course and distance winner with the latest of them coming in May and finished a respectable 6th of 12 at Newcastle last month but was slowly into stride that day. A return to this venue is a plus and could bounce back at an each way price. 4.57 - KRAKEN POWER 7/1 (1 point EW) Been a fairly consistent sort throughout this year and landed a double at Newcastle in January (1 day apart). Respectable 5th last time out only 2 lengths off the winner and holds a good each way chance here. BATH 4.00 - FRED BEAR 7/1 (1 point EW) Two wins and a third from his last 3 starts. Has plenty of form on good and good to soft and should be there abouts again today. 5.05 - FACT OR FABLE 12/1 (1 point EW) He’s already a three time winner this year including a course and distance success but put in a disappointing effort here 2 weeks ago. He’s the sort to bounce back and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him on the scene again today.
VIP I’m going to get something done for the golf today as it’s one of the majors these are my only tips today. Good luck everyone Nate 3.52 Catterick -QUERCUS 11/2 - 1 point EW You can tell by the market prices here that this one is competitive and the bookies have been unable to pin down a fav for this race. I track SHOWALONG who ran too bad to be true last time he’s 7/1 today and should also be able to place at best. However in the past 2 years QUERCUS has placed here 10 times with 3 C&D wins - literally never out of the top 3. Arrives on the back of a solid second but this race is more competitive and a higher class. 3 places on offer if he doesn’t place today then we have managed to follow him on the only race he hasn’t in 11 races at Catterick. 4.22 Catterick - DIAMOND VEGA 7/4 - 1 point win Rossa Ryan is booked at Catterick today and looks to have a good chance at a winner with DIAMOND VEGA who will go off favourite in the 4.22. Rossa has won on this Beckett horse before, it’s rare you see Beckett at Catterick and I think that is telling in itself. He brings two today including the favourite in the first race but hard to back that one at 4/7… DIAMOND VEGA has a win on heavy ground so todays conditions should be no excuse for a poor run.
I genuinely know someone with a fifth share in a horse at Fergusons yard. Like a Tiger is considered group class but has to have soft in the ground description.. being laid out for the Cambridgeshire in September...? Group horse in a handicap..
VIP Good morning guys these are STES selections for the day! I will have mine posted by 12 ✅ Uk 1350 Newmarket- AL AASY 15/8 - 1 point win Won 4 of his first 7 starts including a group 3 contest back in 2020 when getting back to back wins here and he continued to run well the year after with back to back group 3 wins before finishing runner up in the group 1 coronation Cup and again filled that spot nto in a group 2 here to sir Ron Priestley when going off at 1/2 off a 7lb higher mark than this, form slipped on his next two starts and he only ran once last year when winning a listed contest at ascot, dead last on his first start this year after over a year off coming here over 1m 4f but that was off the back of a long break so he should be fitter for this, back down in trip here in what looks a easier race and if turning up he can wipe the floor with this lot. 1425 Newbury- SWEET WILLIAM 3/1 - 1 point win Sweet William finished runner up on his first three starts with plenty of winners coming out of all three of them races and he was very impressive when getting off the mark at the fourth attempt over 1m 3f at donny, won by about 4 lengths there but he was eased at the line and probably could of won by double that. Up in trip for his handicap debut which should suit and a mark of 88 could underestimate the son of sea the stars. 1535 Newbury- DAPPERLING 33/1 EW - 0.5 ew Hannon has 6 runners in this wide open contest and with 21 runners there should be some extra places available so I think its worth sticking with Dapperling who got off the mark lto to win at 12/1 for us with the one behind winning nto, she had finished runner up on her three starts before that improving with evey run and although this is much tougher stepping up from a class 5 to a class 2 I think she's still on a decent mark with more improvement to come, has plenty to find with some of these but at 33/1 she's worth a eachway with Levy jumping back onboard.
