Bought my Dad shares in the Owners Group for his 90tth.... 'his horse' runs in the 5:05 at Kelso Speed Davis... the message sent to the members is, that he's a very nice prospect...
Good for you!!! The one thing about owners group horses is they all 'try' and they are placed very carefully in races they have a chance in.I had 3 up until last season(Calva Dauge,Miranda and Gaulois). In the time of my involvement they ran in total 40 times and I had 14 wins from that. I'll have a bet on Speed Davis,Donald McCain knows his stuff.
3.35 Newmarket – Otttoman Fleet – 1 Point Win, generally 2/1 Comes here fit from Dubai and whilst he didn’t win any of his three races at Meydan, he ran with credit each time in what stiffer test in terms of quality than this represents. Added to that the impression he made when last seen at Newmarket on soft ground, in the Seymour Stakes, when bolting up by 5 lengths, he’s very much the one to beat. That was an extremely impressive performance and a repeat would see him very much the likely winner of this, with William Buick taking the ride 3:10 pm Lingfield - Tawafag 1/1 (1 Point) 4:25 pm Tipperary - Solness 6/4 (2 Points 15:00 Newmarket, Point Lynas 0.5pt each-way @ 15.00 most bookies (4 places @ 1/5) 17:30 Lingfield, Tudor 1pt win 20.00 Southwell, Smart Boyo 1 point e/w @ 5/1 @ Skybet, Unibet, Betfred 1/5 @ 123 places

She really caught the eye when in need of the run on her reappearance, before running a cracker when 2nd to First Street. Since then she’s raced on unsuitably soft ground and her last run can easily be forgiven as she needed to run there to qualify for this. This trip will also suit and we expect her to be very competitive with conditions in her favour. 1.50 Newmarket – Changing Colours – 1 Point Win, generally 3/1 Could prove a good deal better than his rating as the season progresses having been gelded after his 3rd and final run last season. He ran well on each occasion, winning once and placing 2nd on his other two starts. He’s on a good mark based on his final run at Pontefract, where he was giving weight away to the winner, 3rd and 4th. They’ve all given that form a very solid look and the run is better than it perhaps looked at the time. The stable do well with their runners here and he could just prove better than a handicapper. Already Advised. 3.00 Newmarket – Creative Force – 4 Points Win 11/8 with William Hill, Bet Victor, Corals, Betfred, Ladbrokes. A genuine Group 1 sprinter, he’s simply better than these and should take the world of beating. A winner of the Group 1 Champions Sprint at Ascot in 2021, he didn’t find the winners enclosure last year, but was runner up in the Platinum Jubilee at Royal Ascot on his reappearance, then ran 4th in the July Cup, 3rd in the Champions Sprint and again 3rd in the Breeders Cup sprint, performances all of which would win this. He’s won three from three at the Rowley Mile course and rates a very strong bet.
2:40 pm Newbury - Chaldean 5/4 (2 Points) 3:30 pm Navan - The Antartic 11/8 (1 Point 1.15 Ayr – Return Ticket – ½ Point Each Way, generally 8/1 Plenty of respect for the Dan Skelton trained favourite Frere D’Armes and we wouldn’t put you off having a saver, but despite being a 10yo, Return Ticket put in a career best performance last time when winning as he liked and he’s still races off a mark from which he’s won three times in the past. He’s best on a decent surface, the recent wind op clearly did the trick last time, the stable are in excellent form and a repeat of that last win sees him very competitive here. 1.50 Ayr – City Chief – 2 points Win, generally 2/1 A horse very much on the upgrade and one who’s certainly going to prove himself better than his handicap mark. Progressive over hurdles, he’s improved with each run over fences and put in a really taking display last time when beating an improving horse in O’Toole pretty comfortably at Wetherby. That win alone suggests a mark of 142 underestimates his ability and he has plenty of improvement to come. He rates the best bet of the day. 4.00 Bangor – Yggdrasil – 1 Point Each Way, generally 7/1 SkyBet, Coral & Unibet Paying Top 4 Places. Was one of our Ten To Follow last year despite having been beaten a long way in two of his three hurdles races, as he’s bred to be a better chaser, as was asked to race on unsuitably soft ground over the smaller obstacles. He improved significantly over fences, winning three times. He’s not been as good this year, but that has been due to the soft ground he’s been racing on. An improved effort last time back over hurdles on slightly better ground. He returns to fences, this is his best trip and on much more suitable ground conditions he’s handicapped to get back into the winners enclosure. 4.55 Newbury – Wind Your Neck In – ½ Point Each Way, generally 33/1 & Top 5 Places. The favourite has to be respected, but returning to soft ground, Wind Your Neck In is interesting at a big price. He looked like a really nice horse as a 2yo, winning a novice race from a really smart sort and then a Newmarket Nursery, both on soft ground. He was hugely disappointing last year, failing to beat an opponent in all of his three starts. But connections have kept the faith and returning a fresh horse, back on soft ground he could well bounce back to form and if he does he’s a serious player based on the ability he’s shown on a similar surface as a 2yo. 18:30 Nottingham, Gemini Star 1pt win 15:35 Ayr, Famous Bridge 0.5pt each-way @ 19.00 several bookies (6 places @ 1/5)
1:40 pm Hexham - Exlair DAinay 11/8 (3 Points) 3:10 pm Windsor - Sunset Point 6/4 (1 Point) 15.25 Hexham , Eveque 1 point e/w @ 10/1 @ Skybet , 888sport , betfair 16.00 Hexham , Hungry Tiger 1 point e/w @ 10/1 @ betfair , Bet365 , 888sport 3.00 Pontefract – Sun King – 1 Point Each Way, Generally 4/1, Top 4 Places. A purchase from the Aidan O’Brien yard at the July sales, Sun King is a really nice horse for the George Boughey yard. Lightly raced in Ireland, he ran a cracker when 3rd in a Royal Ascot handicap behind Missed The Cut on his final start last year and very much looked a work in progress. A nice debut run for his new yard over an inadequate 1 mile trip back in January, he’s sure to be sharper for that run and with inevitable improvement to come, he should go close here.

A notebook horse from Leopardstown on his first venture over 3 miles, he really caught the eye that day and backed it up with an excellent run at Aintree when 5th in a similar event. Travelling extremely well he was given a very patient ride and was perhaps asked to do too much too early in the home straight, as he quickened past horses to then fade inside the final furlong or so. He’s a strong traveller, jumps well and if given a slightly more efficient ride will go very close here off a 2lb lower mark. Respect for both Parmemion and Walking On Air, but Gatsby Grey is the one we want to be with.
