A mark of 80 looks potentially lenient for this lightly raced son of Zoffany, coming into here after just 3 runs. Plenty of promise on his debut behind a very classy type, he then bumped into another very decent winner on his 2nd start having returned after a break. A really good winner last time, beating an Odds On Fav, he won with plenty of authority and a line through the runner up suggests he has the beating of a number of his opponents here. With a few bookmakers paying top 3 places, he holds very strong claims.

Plenty of respect for Al Agaila but the Charlie Fellowes mare looks equally progressive and has a real touch of class. She’d shown promise as a 3yo, winning twice from three starts. She then ran with huge promise on her return when ridden from a long way off the pace, whilst only 4th, she finished like a train in the closing stages. Upped considerably in class last time, she ran a stormer to split the very good winner and 113 rated Siskany on 3rd. She’s been put up by the handicapper but is taken to give weight away to inferior opposition.

Top 4 Places with Bet365, Skybet, William Hill, Betfair, Coral, Unibet.
A bit of a surprise winner as he tends to be better for a run, but was clearly pretty straight for his return, although he’s sure to improve for that effort. Up just 3lbs for that win, he won with a good deal in hand and is still a well handicapped horse, having been rated considerably higher in the early part of his career. A nice draw in stall 4 a big follow up run can be expected.
