1.22 Wetherby – Amoola Gold – 6/1 Bet365, generally 4/1 Is extremely well handicapped off a mark of 132 here considering his last winning mark was 146, just over a year ago. He’s contested some very strong handicaps since, as well as dipping his toe into graded company. As he’s struggled in higher graded handicaps his mark has dropped considerably and he’s generally been racing on ground quicker than ideal. He relishes soft ground, showed a lot more sparkle last time and looks to hold really strong claims with conditions to suit. 1.30 Kempton – Annsam – 10/3 Bet365, generally 3/1 This represents a big drop in class from contesting the Ladbroke Chase on his last start. Finishing 6th in that high class race perhaps doesn’t do him justice as he led for much of the way and only faded in the home straight. Returning to a right handed track will suit, as will the soft ground as he’s a record of 3 wins from 4 starts when getting those conditions. He’s also back down to a mark from which he can win off and may well get an easy lead here and prove very hard to peg back. 2.12 Fairyhouse – Andy Defresne (e/w) – 16/1 Paddy Power, Betfair, Bet Victor, generally 14/1 Top 4 Places widely available. 2.12 Fairyhouse – Saver Cayd Boy at 9/4. Has always been highly regarded and is still relatively lightly raced for a 9yo. He’s contested some very highly class races before, winning in grade 3 company but generally just lacks the required class at the top level. This is his first run in a handicap since coming 2nd in last years Grand Annual at Cheltenham where he looked the likely winner but just couldn't real in the front running Global Citizen. Off the same mark as Cheltenham and on similar ground, he’s sure to go close if on his A Game; and he showed on his reappearance when 3rd to Captain Guinness that he still retains plenty of ability. A saver is advised on the other JP McManus horse, Cayd Boy who probably would have won but for a mistake 4 out last time and he’s very much unexposed over fences and races off a nice weight here. 2.32 Wetherby – Iroko – 15/8 Paddy Power, William Hill, Betfair, generally 7/4 A late edition to our Ten To Follow section for this season and he justified that entry by landing a gamble on his reappearance over course and distance in November. He won there with more in hand than the winning margin suggests, is expected to improve a good deal for that return and will handle this softer ground. He’s a nice type and still looks pretty well handicapped off a mark of 128. A fair chance given connections that he may have an end goal for the season of something like the Martin Pipe at Cheltenham, so he’ll need to win here to creep up the handicap. 2.40 Kempton – Scarface (e/w) – 16/1 Bet365, generally 14/1 Top 6 Places with Bet365, Skybet, Paddy Power, William Hill, Betfair, Unibet, otherwise Top 5. A very competitive handicap but Scarface rates as potentially a good deal better than his mark of 126 and bizarrely he was dropped 2lbs for winning last time. He ran some nice races as a novice last season without winning, but gained some valuable experience which he’s benefitted from this season. An easy winner on his reappearance, he then just about did enough last time, but wouldn’t have been suited by having to make the running. He’ll be much better suited by a patient ride in this big field and he’ll also relish the underfoot conditions. A big run is expected. 1:10 pm Lingfield - Star Guest 6/4 (3 Points) 3:57 pm Fairyhouse - Westport Cove 11/8 (2 Points) 15:22 Fairyhouse, Wellington Hill 1pt win @ 15.00 several bookies (3 places @ 1/5) 20:30 Chelmsford, Stranger Things 0.5pt each-way @ 8.00 several bookies (3 places @ 1/5
Each way, my arse. There's only one way: crawling to freedom through five hundred yards of **** smelling foulness I can't even imagine, or maybe I just don't want to. Five hundred yards... that's the length of five football fields, just shy of half a mile. On the nose for this one I think.

Bohemian Summer on 365, gambled from 50's to 9\2. First winner for the amateur jockey. Well, first time he is even been remotely near troubling the judge. Think his previous best finish was 6th. In a six horse race. Where the ^&^%^$$%%^^^^^******** did that come from ?
I was asleep in bed as I’m on nights and the alarm went off in my head!! **** me wake up and have a bet
I got 16s although it has been 25s but I got distracted and never backed it at that. Any idea why it shifted so much. (Apart from people backing it obvs).
Only one non-runner, had to be a favourite for the odds to shift that much from the overnight price. SP saying it opened at 12's, fair chunk of money for it to go off at 5's.
