The same can be said for both her previous two runs at Chelmsford where she’s finished as well as anything having perhaps just lacked the tactical speed for 7f. She is on the top of her game at present and is unlikely to bump into anything as good as the Varian horse who beat her last time. 1:10 Southwell, Lynn's Boy - 1pt win 11/1 generally Has had just the tree runs since joining the John Butler yard and ran his best race yet when returning to the all-weather last time, in what looked an average class 4 handicap at Lingfield, and although only beating one home, he wasn't beaten far and was forced to race wide for most of the race before rallying at the end. He's a horse that likes to be on the pace but never really had the chance to do that last time with his wide draw, but back at the track of his last victory where he made all in a decent time from stall 7, with potentially a better draw in stall 1 tomorrow, if breaking well and getting on the front end, then I think he can go well in what's a lower grade than last time. 1:10 Southwell, Twighlight Madness - 1pt win 7/4 We need to back TM as well in this race as he's back to his best form if possibly improving even more having won his last two races with a little to spare including when beating a revitalised Mick Appleby recruit 'Stone Of Destiny' last time. The potential of a better pace tomorrow should suit and with a 5lb penalty being of little concern, I think he looks a safe bet to record his hat-trick. 0.2pts reverse-forecast 1:43 Southwell, Sharp Distinction - 1pt win 4/1 generally A lovely big scopey type who may well have won last time when stepping up to 2m for the first time, had he not had to wait behind horses' before making his challenge. He's gone up just 1lb for that effort and on just his second try over these staying trips for a trainer who's having a great year, this unexposed type looks just the type to take this race before going on to better things. This drop to 1m 6f should suit as he was a bit keen last time, and if building on that last run, then he must go well tomorrow. 5:15 Newcastle, Mistamac 1pt e/w 9/1 generally Megans Moon was a big eye-catcher here on her debut and looks the likely winner. But I'm going to suggest an each-way bet on Mistamac who's a nice-looking son of Profitable, and who ran well at Catterick on debut over 5f, before being quite well backed here at the start of the month stepped up to 6f. But he ruined his chance by racing keenly that day and although well beat, he ran well for a way and was still in there pitching at the furlong pole. He drops back to 5f tomorrow, and if settling better over this shorter trip, then I can see him finishing in the places at the very least, with the small chance of troubling the fav, especially if she doesn't perform as well this time wearing the hood for a second time. 3:25 Ludlow, Bubble Dubi - 1pt win 15/2 generally Has run well in both his hurdle races to date including at Chepstow in what's looking a fairly strong class 4, finishing 2nd behind a very useful winner who's been out and won again. He ran a little better than the result suggested when upped in grade at Ascot last time, having made a few mistakes and being bumped by a rival and hampered by a faller at the last. He's back in to class 4 company tomorrow, and if he can improve slightly on his jumping then he must go well in what looks a fairly weak race
