Newbury 1:55 – Coral Racing Club Handicap Hurdle

After finishing second to the ill-fated Shallwehaveonemore in a Kempton bumper, Walking On Air got off the mark at the first attempt over hurdles when thrashing the opposition at Newbury. He missed Cheltenham after a setback and had a rushed preparation for Aintree where he was pulled-up in the Mersey Novices' Hurdle. That run is best ignored, and he is expected to make his mark in graded company over hurdles before going chasing. Walking On Air is potentially thrown-in here off [132] and I will be advising as a bet if he is declared to run. However, if you can bet with Coral and/or Ladbrokes, he is a standout 6/1, I expect him to go off a short-priced favourite on the day:
