Not really, he's scored 65 in 119 league games and 34 of those goals were in the Championship. When it comes to a player stepping up through the leagues, he's about as good as it gets.
Again alot of them goals was in League 1. Take Matty Fryatt when he was here. He scored 3 goals in about 30 games the year we got relegated and the next season in league 1 he scored 32 goals. Austin's strike rate is impressive still but it nowhere near justifys a price tag that Burnley would demand. But I suppose thats the going rate for strikers now adays
