Lost the stream right at the end but I guess it ended 3-1. Take away the first 15 minutes when we were asleep and it was a good defensive performance and in the last 20 minutes we showed a bit more of what we can do. Always a pleasure to watch City at the moment and am not disappointed in losing, only the manner in which we lost. Still 10th but without a cushion so next 3 matches are must wins.
For the 3rd, the MOTD analysis drew the line across from Aguero and it shows he’s in front of Zeegelaar, yet Keown says he’s onside??
1. Didn't get totally trounced. 2. Grey scored. 3. Carillo with an assist. 4. Think no injuries. Onwards and upwards (hopefully)
Well I guess I missed the best bit. But was surprised to not see 4 or 5 - 0 having left it at 3-0 with tons of time to go. I hope the experience helped Gray and really glad he got the goal . I think overall I'm more optimistic than before, but not by much. Enjoy the final days of Christmas. Here in Spain still have the three Kings celebrations and processions (6th), and more present giving, to come. And Roscons (polo shaped creamy cakes with a lucky charm and a dried bean hidden in the cream. Most unpleasant to bite on). So it isn't over by a long way here. And they wonder why Spain is bust
The HYS on the BBC website under the report is basically the City, United and Liverpool fans trading insults, but there was one comment on there that I found funny, although it may have been put on there to wind up the City fans and that was that the better team lost, such is the cruelty of professional sport! My colleague who is a City fan said that both sides should have been awarded a penalty.
Maybe I'm alone but it strikes me that citeh's 2nd and 3rd goals were offside from the views I've seen. No? Bet a £1.00 to a penny we wouldn't hear the last of it if they had gone in at the other end. Not watched MotD yet. On a lighter note I saw one witty Watford fan comment on the result saying something along the lines of: it's like the relief of walking out of the dentist with a couple fillings having been booked in for root canal...
Yes, Ivwouldcreally have appreciated it if I hadn’t Spent £8 on fish & chips outside. Doh! Considering the expense of the stadium etc, getting back to the Tram was a nightmare. No signage, even Mr Plod couldn’t tell me where it was. As it is below the stadium level, and all 4 sides look the same, it’s a long trek. In future, I must remember which entry is nearest the tram concourse. Apart from that, and hope dying in 38 seconds, it was a great night out!
