Yeah Milan said he had bad teeth which could lead to spinal problems. Of course this is a problem easily solved a la Gerard Houllier when he first arrived at Liverpool. Gerrard etc were sent to a top dentist to sort their scraggy teeth out. There is a school of thought that the teeth are closely linked to back problems. I imagine this is because of nerves etc but have no real idea! Haha. I think Milan probably decided he was not worth 15m and this was the best they could come up with.

Nope, they've been playing a centre midfielder there and want to sell Cissokho to release funds to buy one. Must admit I want a centre back above all else.

I've just got an image of Cissokho stood at the road crossing waiting for the red man to change colour.

I'd be very surprised if we got him, if we do, it certainly means Simmo is off

If we get Cissokho, I'm not too worried. We'd have 3 full backs who can play both sides, plus I've thought for a while Colo could play as an emergency right-back.

No, I'm just used to putting left sided players on the left hand side and right sided players on the right hand side... Didn't realise until recently people felt the need to reverse it.

Perch can play both, also Saylor can play RB, we also have Fergie so we aren't really struggling in that area but Cissokho would add quality

True, though Perch's left foot might as well be a peg leg, and Saylor's not played RB in about 3 years. Either way, enough cover, we wouldn't miss Simpson if Cissokho signs. That said, I'd be more than happy to keep Simpson, I think he's good. Got a feeling if he does leave, he'll be going to QPR.

I'm always surprised that people are so unbothered about the prospect of Simpson leaving. We've got our best defence in years and he has been a major part of it. Indeed he is the only ever present. Whereas I'd see Cissokho signing as a chance to move Santon to his natural position on the right, I'd be loathe to lose Simpson as his competition.

Agree with this, many on here have knocked Simpson especially early on but he's been one of our most improved performers this season as well as kept us in games with 3-4 goal line clearances.
