He is also a joy to watch full flow, but what was he doing, it must be hell being a manager these days.

If he got banned for 7 games for example and he was away for 4 of them with Senegal then it's still only 3 games plus the ones he'd have missed anyway.

There's no rule to state he has to be available for Newcastle to serve his ban.

Just saw the incident for the first time, and it is shocking how he was not sent off...if he does not get a lengthy ban then there is something wrong..Everton must feel very aggrieved that he was allowed to stay on the pitch to score a goal..

Screw Everton and their sorry excuse for fans. Martinez would do well to remember the Haidara incident before crying foul play!

At least the ball was close when mcbananaman took out Haidara! But look at it another way... Colo should've walked against us and Cisse against Everton. Neither did. Luck is on your side definitely

Not just saying it cos he plays for your lot mate, but 3 matches isn't enough for a deliberate (3 attempts at it) elbow to a fellow professional's face. He could have done some serious damage to the lad if he had connected cleanly and should be made an example of IMO. What is the difference between what he did and Cantona's wild kung fu kick? both were intent on injuring someone.
