QPR accept offer for unsettled striker Cisse

    17/01/2013
    by West London Sport
QPR have accepted an offer for Djbril Cisse from Al-Gharafa of Qatar.

West London Sport reported in October that the unsettled striker could leave Loftus Road when he transfer window opened.

Cisse, signed from Lazio a year ago, scored crucial goals to keep Rangers in the Premier League last season.

But he became unhappy at the club and prior to Mark Hughes’ sacking as manager he indicated that he would like to leave.

Hughes’ successor Harry Redknapp was irritated by Cisse’s apparent lack of commitment and quickly made it clear he would listen to offers for him.

Lille and Cisse’s former club Panathinaikos were among the clubs to show an interest, but the player opted for a move to the Middle East.

He going to look a proper tit dressed up in his skirt on a saturday night with nowhere to go.

Plus factor in that he'll have to swop phillip greens daughter for a camel and its a heart warming story.

The man is a Pillock. Best of luck.

We need "top top" players at our Club if we are going to stay in the PL, not just workhorses of at best Championship quality! I agree if Harry cannot get Cisse or anyone else to give 100% for us he is dead right to get rid of them, it is the only way then, but it would be much much better if he could get them playing again, as Cisse most definely can if he were interested. If Harry lets Cisse go because he don't want to play for us and Harry can't get him to play for us, then it is Bye Bye Cisse, but nothing for me to celebrate over. We need strikers that can score regularly in the PL, and I don't see anyone other than possibly Remy in this category with us now who is also fit.
