Off Topic Circumcision

Never has the following ever been more appropriate.................

You set of ****ing bell ends

<laugh>

I think everyone agrees that chopping off lumps of cock and fadge should be a consensual decision made by an adult, unless it's health related.

What's else is there to ****ing say, apart from wash your cock regularly? <laugh>

Dear oh dear.....

I'm not in favour of circumcision, in case you thought otherwise.

Most of my comments have been countering other peoples posts, like Bod for instance who saw it as a religious thing when in places like US it certainly isn't - now he's on the hygiene tack, goodness knows where he goes next. I still see it as nothing like FGM though.

That really wasn't the issue was it. The reasoning for it. Whatever the reasoning for it, I disagree with mutilation, especially against babies.

So you just decided to be a contrary tool because I disagreed with you about John Barnes <laugh>

Read back and you'll see with you it was all about religion, when I pointed out it wasn't, then it changed, then it changed again .... You move the goal posts so often, I'm surprised you can keep up with yourself :p

John Barnes, that was months ago and everyone bar two I think disagreed with me <laugh>

Oh moved the goal posts did I?
Wasnt all about religion at all bud, but keep on thinking that.
I am an outspoken atheist who seeks the destruction of all organised religion on the planet sure.
But that doesnt mean I agree with Genital mutilation for any other reason other than to save a childs life.

The funny thing is we're both on the same with this - i.e, against FGM and circumcision unless it's medically necessary [circumcision that is, not FGM that's cruelty].

But when your first comment included this ''I dont want my tax money spent on a pointless religious exercise'' - it sort of points to you thinking it is ... erm... religious related. I used the US as an example because it isn't about religion there and why I said if you lived in America you would probably have a different point of view. In truth you probably would because you'd already be done and so would all or most of your friends <laugh>

I didn't even consider getting my boy snipped. If my wife had insisted I would have just said fine a it's a nothing procedure with a few potential upsides.

I just found the comparison to the mutilation of girls ridiculous. And the reaction/responses suspiciously oTT and geared around religion rather than anything else.

I agree completely.

Indeed, though varying degrees of the same thing, the end result for females is far more tragic.
its like the difference between shooting someone in the foot and shooting someone in the head, the same action in essence, but with far more dire consequences.

btw - how did you approach your mates on the subject to find out if they were still in tact ...... or not <laugh>
Well, circumcision is not really a thing in my neck of the woods.
Only people circumcised around here are muslims or Catholics.
I am well aware that there is a thing in America (and to a lesser degree here) where people elect to do it for hygiene reasons.

It's Jewish and Muslim related, it's never been a Catholic issue at all in fact some regard it as immoral, and if it is in your area, then there's something weird going on there. I know you'll hate this but the Pope has said it's not even a feature of Christian identity.
