I visited the Liverpool waterfront a couple of weeks ago and recommend it to anyone, the rich heritage of the city, shared to some extent with the North East, is wonderful, the attractions devoted to history of the city, shipping, popular music and comedy are fabulous, to be fair Cilla and Tarby are insignificant, I ended the day driving past John Lennons home out in the suburbs, it was a great day out.
