It was always going to descend into madness, so it was pointless starting it. I still read CI from time to time, it used to be excellent when it was part of a football league forum. It was probably a part of the biggest football league forums, and as a result there was some excellent cross board banter. they've done well to keep it going once the plug was pulled overnight. It was the best site for cross board banter.
Well I wouldn't go that far, otherwise you might as well say all threads are pointless because you don't know what the outcome is going to be. The forums aren't the issue; declaring that something a lot of us knew 2 weeks ago is breaking news isn't good enough for what a lot of people are calling "one of the best sites out there".
Age Thread was called "How old are you geezers?" and last update was 01/04/2013.Since then it has expanded to 180 forum members aged between 12 and 81. 46 members of the 180 declaring their age(roughly25%) are under 25.
As there are actually 1796 registered members on this forum, there's only about 10% who've actually declared their age.
Not a bad percentage though as in polls conducted on here generally we are lucky to attract 100 respondents. The last Moderator poll attracted only 90 members in the run-off as a stand out example.
Well, in the end this was a bit of a **** thread, wasn't it? I'm off to CI instead to talk about moslemic rayguns n ****. TTFN ladies.
