Anyone know what's happened to Tadanari Lee? Pretty sure he recovered to played against Stevenage, so does he have another injury now, or just out of favour?

Also, does anyone think he's going to have much opportunity in the first team, with the likes of Lambert, Lallana, Ramirez, Rodriguez, Mayuka, Guly, De Ridder etc all fighting for the attacking positions? Personally, in the few games he's played for us I think he looks solid and could become someone on the fringe of the starting XI, maybe occupying a regular space on the bench. However it's hard to tell as he's only played a handful of times at home, and that's the only times I've seen him.

I heard on Saturday that he was injured again in training. Sadly I cannot confirm.....as it was someone who usely is ITK but I don't see injuries mentioned much on the OS.

I'm a big fan of Chung, and think he could be brilliant for us once he's fit and played a few games. The question is weather he can get those games in the first place! I'd have him above Guly and De Ridder, but will only be a bench player for now and probably until someone gets injured. Hopefully if that happens he'll be reading to step up.

I heard ages back he had broken his arm on his return from Nice, and he did it during his holiday. Shame either way.

Andy Crosby was interviewed after the Sheff Wed game this evening and, amongst other things, said that Chung had an elbow problem. Nothing serious, and he should be back in contention within another week or so. Frankly, with all the competition for forward places, we don't exactly need to hurry the lad back. Although, like everyone else I'm sure, I'd like to see him play.

Where..? Is the obvious question though.

he provides cover for Lallana,Lallana provides cover for Gaston, JRod provides cover for Rickie, Punch provides cover for Mayuka. Chaplow,Guly and Steeevie do not get a game unless the **** really hits the fan

Talking about players who back-up others, but don't get to play often. Earlier, I read a post where Antii Niemi was mentioned, and I went off to see what he'd done since leaving Saints. Of course, his last playing club was Portsmouth, and he didn't play a single game, while backing up David James. But he did gross £450,000 apparently. Now we know the manner in which they spent all their money. Dear, oh dear. <shakeshead>

I have a horrible feeling he's going to be like Pahars with the injuries.
