Interview with Rickie went up last night...sometimes you have to scroll up as articles can hide a bit...no idea why.
Interview with Nigel on at midnight...10 mins of him deflecting questions. As he said, I am consistent in my answers:cheesy: Nice bit when he said it was an honour to manage Southampton. Interviewer mentioned Lee on crutches...he said he'd had a knock on his foot and they were immobilizing it...wouldn't say whether he would be fit or not for Saturday but seemed quite relaxed about it. Sounded worse for Connolly...said he'd had a bad knock on his knee and they were awaiting diagnosis..did look concerned.

Copied and Pasted. Apologies to SFC, if they have a harrumpf about it, but I'm just accurately informing the audience:

David Connolly got a kick on his knee on Saturday. Jos Hooiveld had a fantastic shot from 40 yards that the keeper has blocked and David has gone charging in to get the rebound and got a decent bang on his knee there. We will get the right diagnosis there and see what comes of that. "Chung got a kick on his foot so we have immobilised it as we always do, but it is too early to say if he is struggling for the weekend or not.

I think back to a few years ago...and what a contrast.

We might have a striker ruled out and we can pull the likes of Billy Sharp out of the bag.

    It's a dream, right?

Shame for the lad if he is injured - short-term or long-term - but it's not the biggest problem in the world. Certainly not as big if it were Lambert or Davis or Fox or Hooiveld, or pretty much anyone from before January.

Sharp, Connolly or Guly are all perfectly capable forwards.

If Lee doesn't play I bet he has a lame excuse.

OK, Not bad. You can keep you coat on the peg.

    Chung's so willing I'm sure he'd hop around non-stop, all match. <laugh>
