A huge crowd of 308 went to see the game last night. The competition must be getting popular, as it easily beat the 274 at West Brom last year.

WHAT IS THE POINT OF THIS COMPETITION ????

I cannot believe that it's anything other then a financial disaster for all the (L1 & L2 ) clubs. What was the cost of staging last night's game - especially with it being at a neutral ground - I am sure that Charlton had loads of expenses for the game - whose paying - GFC ?? ( ultimately you and me ! )

Can't we simply opt out ? ( I suppose not ) - surely the chairmen(women) of the EFL clubs can force the FA to rethink the credibility of this nonsense.

It's not an FA competition, it's an EFL competition. As a result it's completely on the EFL to sort out but you are correct it continues to get worse and worse. I'm very much still behind the #BTeamBoycott

Especially when our (small) squad keeps being decimated by injuries.

Team boycott absolutely agree. The hidden agendas behind the under 21's being in this trophy should not be ignored.
