Chronicle player ratings

I had a discussion with him before and he tried to justify giving Ameobi such a high rating. Lost some of my respect after that. I can't imagine anyone with any sense at all who was at the game last night who could say Ameobi played well.

 

I can't argue it since I wasn't there (scary how many ratings I've seen based on what they heard on the radio though...), but either way its a matter of opinion, just don't let it bother you. Or go into journalism and show how it should be done.

He was saying that he caused the Forest defence problems, and my point is that he is a striker and didn't even come close to getting anywhere near the ball for a chance on goal, and considering he was the only striker on the pitch I thought this was very poor. He said some people like Shola, some don't. Which is fair enough, but to say that was a good performance was just delusion at its best.
