We passed him out in the car , so the window went down and I began braying like a donkey at him. He had a sneer on his face....i have no idea if he saw me or not. Tony Davis did the job on him on the sunday game though.
I met the guy who wrote this in Liverpool some years ago. His name is Bruce Scott, a scouser through and through. He was very ill at the time, I only found that out after. He sang this song and it was unbelievably powerful.
Trust webel to post the Babby Sands video. Have to say mate you have marked yourself out as a die-hard republican, barking on at Celtic fans about singing RA tunes, saying that the Ardoyne riots were acceptable. You probably think as me as "the enemy" but I am far from it and I accept all cultures on the island of Ireland but I won't agree with is the rabble that take to the streets and use their bricks, bombs and whatever to get their point across. Loyalist or republican, they are all scummy ****ers to me. I don't like arguing back and forth with you (as many others don't either.) Our country is ****ed up and we need to agree to get along with each other. I have family and friends that are catholic and the religion thing is seriously not an issue. I was brought up in a unionist area and I'm sure you were the opposite, the thing is I never thought anthing about and I still don't. I have lots of catholics, protestant and jewish friends. We can argue till the sun burns out about who's right and who's wrong. The thing is I fully accept that attrocities in Northern Ireland, go both ways. You may argue differently but I would never support a politican with blood on his hands McGuiness or Irvine, don'y give a ****, takin someone precious life for your own belief is WRONG.
I don't think of you as the enemy, I think of you as a pig ignorant hypocritical lying bigot from a family of bigots who knows **** all about me. You cannot argue about who is right and who is wrong because you are incapable of doing it. You don't argue Med dog, you spread lies, as evidenced by this diatribe. Do you want to tell people where you have lied, or would you prefer to avoid an interminably boring row where you tell lie after lie and eventually duck for cover as you are proven to be a liar. That seems to be the traditional route of these things.
I didn't invite the **** to comment.
Not a fan of Christy Moore in the slightest. Dunno why, just never took to him. Much prefer Paul Brady. On the mobile app here so cant really post links Mick your welcome to edit this post to embed videos of Paul's versions of Arthur McBride, Lakes of Pontchartrain and Mary and the Soldier if you want
Medro, do you support Paisley. The man who started the troubles. Do you attend bonfires that burn tricolours, camans (hurley sticks) and GAA flags? Do you support the UKIP politician's assertions that those criticising the burning of hurleys and Down GAA flags (cultural items, not political items) in Dundrum were attacking Orange culture?
I am a big fan of Paul Brady doing "nothing but the same old story" . A song about anti-Irish racism in London in the 60s. A really difficult song to sing. It is another one that Cruncher does too.
The Jews shouldn't really be considered to be a great monotheism since their numbers are only in the millions, as opposed to the billions of Christians and Muslims. And **** knows how Pedro managed to get Jewish friends growing up in Belfast, I've been living around Europe for 6 years and haven't managed to get myself a single Jewish friend yet - in fact I am not even aware if I have met a Jew. I know Terry very well, used to drink with him in McLaughlin's pub at the top of the New Lodge before I moved out.
I was in the same class as Sinead at Uni......she left after a term. I felt it was like a vanity project for her. She left and did another course elsewhere. Maybe not the best song to post. If I get **** for posting the people's own MP, maybe you will for a particular lyric in that song!!! Cruncher is some man to sing a song. As great as it is watching him play for money, the best I heard him was at a lock in where he played for the hell of it. He seems like a good fella who dances to his own beat and that is that. He is about my favourite ballad singer.
