    Here is a thread to record your sightings of houses with Xmas lights up stupidly early.

    There are sporadic reports of some sightings of lights by folk on twitter already.

    Drovd past the Metrocentre tonight, nearly crashed the ****ing car, there’s like a 50ft lit up reindeer thing stood outside the green entrance FFS! We haven’t even had bonfire night yet man, **** off will ya!

    Wrapped my tree in cling film last year with all the ****e still on it and whacked it in the loft, couldn’t be arsed to take all the stuff off and take it down, it’ll be up in 10mins this year!

    Another thing ruined by money and capitalism. Greed has taken over.

    Traditionally trees wouldn't go up until the afternoon of Christmas Eve. This was about ritual of festivities and also cost.

    With cheap trees this has changed. I can accept early to mid December but anything earlier and you're basically a ****tard. The worst thing is the shops/online/TV and this incessant decoration/advertising rush from 1st November onwards. The pressure on parents is already immense now. Its all just one big con to pressure parents into spending more. I know people who just go way beyond their means. As parents you want your kids to want for nothing and they are abusing that.

    Already up in Jakarta and they don’t even celebrate Chritmas. Starbucks Christmas paper cups out as well plus the warming christmas drinks - its bloody 30deg C even at night.
