own goal by spiess. he punched it into his own net. what on earth was he doing. ball looped up into the air and instead of trying to catch it he panic and tried to punch it and ended up punching it in his own net.
corner to us and blissett from 6 yards level with far post and shoots wide. easier to score than miss apparently! end to end stuff.
so summary of the 1st half... torquay has had more of the possession without creating chances. spiess has had nothing to do apart from punching the ball into his own net. but rovers have shown quality in the counter attacks and have created many chances in the final 3rd which is rare for us and could and maybe should have scored 4 already and out of sight. so far so good as we currently have 3 points in the bag. but its just a 1 goal lead which could easily get wiped out if torquay actually get their act together.
