    Seen any residential decs up?

I saw my first full set of decs and lights go up last Friday. It’s a neighbour and they normally keep them up till mid to late Jan.

    Simply no need.

Go take them down for them. I'm sure they will thank you when you explain its still Autumn yet.

My hair dresser, who just happens to “love” Christmas put their decorations up three weeks ago, yes three weeks ago.

You either love it or hate it.

I hate it. The shops started immediately after Halloween. We'll have Black Friday soon - now known as Black 2 Weeks.

Its all bullshit. I have no problem with Xmas or all the decorations. Indeed I like Xmas as it involves a lot of nights out and drinking. Women getting dressed up in slutty santa gear etc etc. Lets leave the decorations and other stuff until December 1st at least though and stop buying into this massive con by the retailers to make Xmas last 2 months.

Anyone who puts tacky decorations up on the outside of their house should be sterilised <ok>

Even the yanks have the decency to lay off the Christmas stuff until after their thanksgiving (end of nov).

When you’re being more commercialised than the yanks there’s no hope.

What gets me is the house owners who feel the need to quadruple their electricity bill by parking the entire festive aisle from B&Q on their front lawn.

    Then close their curtains.

None to be seen round my way yet. Although all the shops have them up here now.

Saw a couple of Indonesians complaining in Sogo that the shop hadn't made much effort with the Christmas Tree as it was still covered in lots of those little white polystyrene packing balls.

I'll be decorating a lot of pictures of Staveley this Christmas with my own somewhat snowy substance

Seriously though, I feel for those ****ers at Argos. I went to get a phone a couple of days ago and the theme is in full swing. ****ing Christmas song after Christmas song. A few more weeks and they'll all be having to dress up as elves and reindeer, ****ing humiliating.
And the songs, ****ing hell they've just give up trying. Lyrics were basically "Christmas Christmas Christmas, santa, corndog, Christmas"
