Sorry for another OT thread, and I make no assumptions about individual attitudes towards charity, but just come across this option when searching for a suitable cause for a donation.

I've slept rough (as opposed to sleeping in rough places) a grand total of twice in my life, once in a park in Folkestone (waiting for the milk train) and once on a bench in Porthill, Idaho (waiting for a bus). Despite having a sleeping bag in both cases it was cold and bloody scary.
There are a bewildering array of charitable options out there and many deserving causes. We will each have our favourites (for want of a better word) but if like me you feel that charitable giving is a sad necessity of modern life and like spreading it about a bit, ponder this one.
