I'm 58 now and have been going to Sunderland since I was 5. I have never heard of anything like this either at Sunderland or any other football ground. The people I knew back then would kick the living sh!t out of anyone who would do anything like this, hence my doubts its was that rife. Having said that, if it was, these scumbags should be found and locked away regardless of how long ago it was...I assume if it was that well know, some people MUST know some of the culprits.
