The thing you need to realise is spending 2M in this league is like spending 10M in the prem. If you was in the prem and spent 10M on a striker you would expect to see some return on him sharpish especially with him not being young. Prossie should be in his prime and ready to contribute alot more then he has so far. For Bruce not even letting him come on as a sub most week it points to something being wrong. I think in the summer you will probably look at selling him back to a German club and recouping some of the money you paid
Hull? Pearson wont spend silly on wages, why do you think the ones that were not worth their wage have left or are out on loan?
Ian Stringer has just said Chris Wood is about to sign for us! Get in @JasonBourne1986 What do you reckon to the news that @StringerSport has just told us on BBC Radio Leicester? Chris Wood set to sign from West Brom.
Peltier was £1m, and a relatively solid RB. I cant imagine him being on too much wages. Fernandes must have had the loan fee given back if he left (and was actually very good but played in a **** position in a **** formation) Bamba was cheap to buy, very cheap to buy, and i cant imagine his wages were high coming from scotland until he signed a new contract.
For Peltier I bet we are getting De Laet on around about the same deal and Ritchie is alot better all round then Pelts so therefore we over paid for Pelts Bamba was very cheap but his wages wasnt. He cost us alot of goals with his positioning amongst other things Fernandes only came for Sven and as soon as he left he sulked
to call £800k-£1m for peltier too much is a little harsh on the lad - a proven RB of his ability would be about that if not a little more. Bambas wages were only big once we have him a contract extensive, i cant imagine a CB coming in from scotland at that price on big wages.
SKY dont half write some ****. For starters he isnt a Millwall striker, and nowhere did Nigel Pearson play it down. He was his normal self, didnt give anything away at all so dont ask where they come to this conclusion
This suggests that business is taking place to me tbh. If Pearson Shakey and Walsh rate Woods, then he could be a solid signing, they haven't steered us wrong much in the past.
