If you don't get on with Nigel then Nigel won't get on with you. Which is fine. Because he'll bring in people that fit his bill and they've always been hardworking players with a future.
It doesn't matter who signed the players in question ,there was still a falling out.I think Neil Danns could be added to that list also.
Neil Danns was signed by Sven It does matter who signed them Nigel signs players that fit the mould of what he wants and requires from his players on and off the pitch. Chris Wood fits into that. Nigel doesmt sign wrong un's because he does him homework on them as people aswell as players
Got to contradict you Proud. Pearson was desperatly trying to buy Danns for Hull in the close season but Danns chose Leicester. So, even though he did not buy him for u guys, he was prepared to buy him for Hull. Surely, Danns would have acted the same at Hull as at Leicester,
Phil Brown had Bullard bought for him. Turned out to be a disaster.Had he not been injured so badly he would probably have been one of the most astute signings in Prem history. Nige is a strong man with strong opinions.A decent Championship manager
I think Danns head got stuck too far up Beckfords arse. Beckford and Mills destroyed alot of the team spirit Its a case of 1 bad apple spoils the bunch
Unless you personally know the players, nobody can ever say whose fault it is. Fans come on the various sites and say all sorts of ****e. I will agree with OLM, Ashbee was treated with a real lack of respect by pearson at Hull. So, I don't go with it's always the players fault. As regards Bullard at Hull. My mate (not a footy fan) frequented the clubs around Hull. On many occasions he saw him doing things totally inappropriate to an injured player. I personally did not see these things happen but hes been a mate for 40+ years so I trust his say on things.
In Nigels first training session back he asked Danns if he was going to talk to him now Whenever he was rung by Pearson he didn't answer his phone. He never wanted to go to Hull
Or, maybe it was nothing to do with Hull. Maybe he didn't want to play for Pearson or didn't like Pearson. The way things have transpired, I would say it's the latter.
Just because a manager signs a player doesn't mean he can't fall out with them. Don't tell me you've never met someone and thought they're sound, until you get to know them better and realised they're actually a complete ****? Or never had a personality clash with someone after you got to know them a bit? Nige is no mind reader, you can't read a book by looking at the cover, what an absurd thing to say that Nige will never fall out with his own signings.
So why was he captain at the back end of last season and the first name on Nigels team sheet? Something has happened over the summer.

Maybe you're right. Does'nt mean it was Danns fault. Everyone always assumes it's the player at fault. I know cause ive had some right inept ****s as bosses.
You claimed he didn't want want to come to Hull, rather than him not wanting to sign for Pearson, yet it seems that he'd now rather play in a relegation battle for Huddersfield than play for Pearson. I suspect that given his time over, he'd rather he'd signed for Hull.
Who said he didn't want to be involved in a relegation battle? It appears he just didn't want to go to Hull.
Nigel is a solid championship manager.Hopefully he will still be with you next year-as favourites for promo-again. I suspect he will start next year by getting rid of the people who do not want to be at the club. ...............ad infinitum
