Bye bye Ashton hello Shepherd

AUSTRALIAN ace Cameron Shepherd says he can’t wait to show the Saints fans what he can do.

Shepherd, who can play at full-back or on the wing, has signed on at Franklin’s Gardens and brought an end to a six-year stay at Perth-based Western Force.

Regarded as one of Australian rugby’s most feared attacking players, the 28-year-old was the Super Rugby outfit’s all-time leading points scorer.

How fickle fans can be. When Shepherd flops you'll be begging for Ashton to come back.
Why fickle, it was a joke, I would have loved for Ashton to stay but he made it clear he was off and the Saints need to move on and forward and in capturing Shepherd they have done that. The Saints have the best coach in the country and he rarely gets it wrong when bringing in a player who can slot into the style of play he wishes to produce.
