I was reading the thread about the Coventry display and how the lad worked out the size of the ship for the east stand and all the sums and calculations that he had to do to scale it up (Donald down the wing he posts as) and it sounded mental, surely there is an easier way to help them design stuff rather than tracing round images of the stand? Surely the club can digitise the stadium so they can mock some designs up.
From the bits I’ve read, it seems like the lads behind SO37 are really proud it’s all fan led and happy to continue that way. Also, that’s a bonus if they ever needed to plan a dig/protest at anything to do with the club (hopefully not required). Fair play I say.
'Arms length' might be their best bet. Friendly enough to let them sort it out but then who knows, they may be fundraising for a 'KLD OUT' surfer in a few years. Clearly this is hypothetical and I hope KLD is here for a good few years yet.
That big surfer flag in the Roker End last weekend cost £6K. The Mags’ group who do similar reckon they’ve raised £8K so far yet have a big display every home game… Work that one out Filthy money is backing it. Fact. It’s superb what the lads are doing for us…
Aye. They were saying Rueben brothers made a big donation to them I think. **** them. Our stuff is class. I'm in the family corner so just wish they would extend the display bit further for the full south stand. The kids (and parents ) would love the surfers being passed over the top. Get them involved, they are the next generation of Roker enders.
Chris Waters is the only good thing about customer relations in that club. Went out his way in 2021 to sort me tickets out for Lincoln play off after the trouble I had with trying to purchase them online. Brilliant bloke.
Not so much a post about CW, but has anyone heard from the OP @Oldsandy, I haven't seen him post for a while. I sent him a pm a week or so ago with no reply.... Just hoping he's OK.
Pretty sure Chris was in the meeting where Chaz was on about changing the music and the little lick arse lad was saying dance of the nights was ****, you could see Chris thinking "are you taking the piss" while holding a laugh in. I think the next step for Chaze once he sorted the rave music out was to start charging 19 quid for a bottle of water and selling E. Monumental knob head that bloke. One thing that he was right about, some of the staff were ****.
