    If Blackburn/Birmingham/West Ham go down, we should go for Samba, Dann, R Johnson or Upson (least of all).

    Great shout about Campbell, you have to respect what hes done within the game and the way he played at Portsmouth at that age and such, but your right hes past it. But hes one of footballs good guys in my opinion so id like to see him go on and be a defensive coach at Arsenal or somewhere. And Samba would be a beast, potentially the best defender in the prem at attacking the ball from set pieces, and a monster at the back. Id happily part with 10 million for him, as hes proven in the prem, rather than going abroad and getting another Rozenhal.

    Campbell's had a great career, but sadly he's like a lot of footballers, who don't realise when its time to retire look at players like Les Ferdinand and Robert Lee Always rated Samba as one of Blackburn's best players and he pops up with key goals as well.
