First thing he did was lay all the praise at the feet of the players. No mention of how pleased he is with his input, just focus on the players and give them the praise they deserve. Even gives Kevin Hitchcock a mention. He comes across very well. Plus, still managing the reserves and under 14's on Thursday. Great attitude and shows he cares about more than just the firs team.
All the traits you have just described, are all things that I have always felt about our club. I for one am very happy with his stewardship. Hope he stays no matter what.
Humble in Victory. Take a bow, Well done. I do wonder if that was a bondo team but don't care. 3 points.
I'll admit I'd not heard of him before he came to us but I'm very impressed with the way he conducts himself and (from the reports of his 1st 2 games) how he has the team playing. We could have a future legend in our midst.
If it was rhino, you'd wonde if he'd had any input in the last two years, because it was a world apart from the usual stodge served up
Bond staying and Jordan going is still troubling me, he's always had a face like a smacked arse so its a difficult one to read, but I don't think Harry and Kev are as close as they once were. (possible massive understatement!) Kev certainly was giving some instructions or 'strong' advice to Ramsey at points, either way we did a number on old Gus
Bond had a big falling out with Redknapp last season, over not being able to prepare the team because Redknapp did not know what it was going to be until a couple of hours before kick off. I heard that Bond and Jordan were also not on speaking terms in the period before Redknapp limped out. Perhaps he was the progressive one of the three, with his ideas perpetually crushed. Must admit, I thought putting the cones out was his chief role. But he does know the characters in the first team much better than Ramsey, who seems to select based on what he sees in training.
