    I’d be extremely worried if we signed JT.
    Considering how good he was as a defender himself, he has failed miserably to coach Villa’s defence properly - they are awful.
    At least LJ didn’t come to us having failed.......
    He would probably raise our press profile, that’s all.
    Of course, if he DID take over I’d support him as I do ALL City managers.

    So the man is waiting on Steve L before he decides on the Brum job.
    Clearly wants the city job sign him up before we lose him to Brum or Fulham.

    If he’s waiting on us and Fulham then he won’t be making a decision until Fulham at least sack Parker.

    Only is Parker is sacked, apparently if Fulham don’t go up that is who they want.
    But if City offer him the job he is ours.
    Streaky Johnson can go to Fulham as he is a Fulham fan<laugh>

    I see Hughton as a ‘Mr Fixit’ - like Warnock. Ok the styles of football are different - as are their characters, but they are both skilled in getting teams into the Premier League from the Championship.
    IMHO that’s what we need. I’d personally rather see boring football and get to the Prem, then pretty football but stay where we are or worse; pretty football in League 1.
    I respect that others may disagree,
    I would bet that IF Hughton came - and got us promoted, he’d end up getting the ‘golden bullet.
