Bet Fulham are wringing their hands in anticipation now.. they'll smell the panic and win. Then they may only need another win and stay up with a -40 odd GD..!!
If true, this is absolutely astouding. As you imply, it's not just about the 14 clubs with new managers, but 19 out of 20 - the comments about the other 5 are true enough (except a bit of an understatement about Villa fans having 'mixed feelings'!). What an absolutely ridiculous state of affairs isn't it? -> ".... Only stupid thing is doing it now and not 4 months ago" I'm sure that rings a bell?
On the face of it seems a strange time to do it, but I guess they are hoping for a reaction from the players for this Fulham game. As far as Chris H, it could work in his favour, if they go down then he will probably say that he could have kept them up, as Browny did when Dowie was brought in.
Hardly a shock though. Even if Delia was on the cooking sherry. Let's be aving ya - more like let's be sacking ya. There has to be alot more to it than just losing to Wba on saturday. The Fulham v. Norwich game on saturday is massive espeicially for Norwich. If the Canaries lose that they are going down down.
Neil Adams said: "To say that I am delighted to have been offered the opportunity of managing Norwich City Football Club would be a massive understatement. "People know what this club means to me, and so it goes without saying that we will be doing everything possible to ensure that we maintain our top-flight status for next season. "These final five games will be a huge test for us, and everyone must step up to the mark. But with the full backing of these magnificent Norwich supporters we will have every chance of achieving our objective." Way to show some loyalty and sympathy to your former boss on the day he gets the boot. Cut throat business this football malarkey.
Very true but was limited on his tactics. Many Norwich fans say he has no plan B. I blame all those ex.Leeds players he signed first off. 2nd, Wolfswinkel and Hooper are not as good as many think. As for the cost to get them, well I bet a nice healthy bonus will have been offered to stay in the PL.
That's certainly how other clubs' fans and the southern media used to portray him. But the truth was somewhat different of course.
A very interesting post - but there's also Brendan Rodgers. Not sure many Liverpool fans want him out (any more ).
