16 refs, 10 possible league games. 6 have to be left out, some are 4th officials, some in the Football League. However the really really bad refs, those that give imaginary goals on a number of occasions or allow beach balls to score are kicked out completely Essentially the system works.
If you just desperately don't want to admit the truth, then by all means keep ignoring the evidence. We all know that the England captain gets treated favourably and Ferguson won't have to put up with a ref that he's publicly criticised for important games. When you've got ex-officials telling you that's the case, then I'm not sure why you're arguing against it. Foy upset Ferguson. That's not in doubt. Foy hasn't taken charge of a League Two game since February 2008. That's not in doubt. That the two happen to coincide seems rather unlikely, doesn't it? When someone's reffed 159 games in a row without dropping down to that level and they're asked to do it the week after they piss off Ferguson, it just sounds silly when you claim it was his turn. Utterly transparent.

So for something fishy to be going on with the number of people in the game and the people watching the chance of nobody coming forward is massive so the only logical explanation is to make this whole conspiracy even more crazy. The facts are that Foy upset Ferguson, by the manager's own admission and the next game that he's given is at a lower level than he's been at since February 2008. You may dismiss that as a coincidence, but the 159 games in between would suggest it's unlikely. Your claim that nobody's said anything is also untrue. As Notso's quote earlier clearly pointed out, Jeff Winter flagged up Ferguson's behaviour: “The FA is reticent to give Manchester United games to referees that Ferguson has criticized in the past”. That's exactly what people are saying, but you're attempting to turn it into a conspiracy theory, because it looks bad for your side if your strawman isn't accurate.
Ive disproved the whole thing, it was incredibly easy to do aswell. Ive also shown the Liverpool lads how the same theory can apply to them, I can do it for a number of clubs aswell.
