Green, Cesar clearly doesnt want to be here, so why should he play, even if he is better. He only ever saw us as a temporary stop on the way to a "bigger" premier league club anyway. If Cesar is left to rot outside of the team, it will hopefully prompt him to clear off. (and remove his wages from the club)
I hope that his stubborness on the money front comes back to haunt him (Cesar). Scenario is that he fails to move because he wants the money, doesn't get played, and then looses out on the World Cup. Brazil then go and win it. In years to come when he is sitting in his palatial surroundings reminiscing he is going to feel a right plank!
Cesar all day everyday... whats the matter with you people..? The only reason Green want to play for us is because he isn't good enough to play for anyone else, and earn the ridiculous wage he does for being terrible.. put his record against Cesar AND THEN JUSTYFY YOUR VOTE.... ridiculous poll!!
I posted this in another thread: I want to keep Green. We're finding a bit of stability now and we're making progress. To change keepers again, to a lefty, and the probability of having to change back midwinter again doesn't sound appealing to me.
he made a lot more than one or two to be fair. to be honest though if we've got two good keepers vying for the number 1 spot and up for the long season ahead...great. Let fernandes worry if we can afford it or not.
Tough one....Cesar good shot stopper but doesn't command the area, whereas Green not as good a shot stopper but does take charge of the area, therefore gives the back 4 more confidence.... From this perspective i would go for Green....
Yaeh..i wonder if the Brazil manager, Milan and countless others would agree with that.. absolute crap!
Is this the same "loyal" Green that was smiling as we let in a howler last year (and yes I do think he meant it at our misfortune)? Perhaps half a season's worth of games have changed that? Then perhaps it's the same "loyal" Green that dropped West Ham for us as we pitched up with the lucrative contract? Loyalty is a varying measure and Green has no more devotion than Cesar will if he has to earn a World Cup place.
As a keeper myself, Cesar does my head in. He's just such a tart- refuses to put his body on the line ever and can't do crosses- even more important this season. Little to no communication either. Added to the fact he desperately wants to be anywhere else, it's Green for me. Then again, in a world cup year he might not be such a woman.
Footballers like money but they also like the highest platform on which to play: Cesar has said all along if he stays he stays and so far has trained with total professionalism. The question that Nines asked is very clear but posters haven't noticed that. The poll IMO is therefore wrong as Cesar is a better keeper
