    They get that back in shirt sales in a couple of pre season games. We are still selling Zola shirts, imagine how much that has made us !!!!!

    In my opinion, the East Stand Upper mid sections are the best value and provide the best game view for your money. The East Stand is, actually, a design classic from a 1970s architectural point of view. It was the best stand in the country for many years with its cantilever design.

    It was a design classic alright Bristol but the feckin thing nearly sank our Club. I remember putting money into a bucket for the "Save the Bridge" campaign. Before Stan's time i'd venture !!!

    Under some seats in the East Stand there were round holes in the concrete. Apparently, these were the outlets for the pipes carrying warm air to heat the supporters on cold winter days. They’ve all been filled in now but you can still see where they were. I don’t know if this system was ever operational but we have the overhead industrial heaters now. I think there were other factors as well that helped sink the club but remember that the likes of Manchester United almost went out of business due to bankruptcy.
