How low can these so called super clubs go, first a European super league and now trying to rob little Middlesbrough of their home advantage, which realistically is their one hope of progressing. They honestly have no moral compass by which they judge themselves. They are money above all. They are destroying football from the inside out in this country. Whoever at Chelsea has made the decision to make that request needs to be named, shamed and sacked. I would like to see some moral guidance from Tuchel and the captain and them both to come out and say we play and we think this request is misguided. Tuchel in particular I like and I think he has a real platform to do some good, if he wants to.
History, even recent History is on your side here. The Lady held by Iran as a spy has had her Passport returned. There are strong rumours that The UK Goverment has FINALY repaid £400mil that was owed to Iran from an Arms deal agreed by the Shah, which following his downfall, was never completed. Presumably this £400mil was an up-front payment. There has, apparently, never been any doubt that this money belongs to The Iran Government. But, Lawyers, and Politicians, being what they, repayment has been blocked. by the various HM Governments since Jan 1979. This is just a suspicion on my part, you understand, but had this been repaid when she was first charged, her and her family would have gone through a lot less suffering. If it had been repaid earlier, she may never have been jailed in the first place.
