I tend to start on the grass and finish in the water.

LL was banned by brb for too many racist complaints. NOBODY hit the report button, it was all said by members in open threads.

Nobody reported Glory but he was being watched by the super mods. The super mods didn’t like his posting style, in short it was felt that he was going after LL for personal reasons not because of the content. As Eric pointed out it was also felt he was showing too much animosity towards Chesh and Shako. They did NOT ask for any action, they didn’t report anything, I think at least one of them contacted brb asking for Glory NOT to be banned.

Although Glory had his ban lifted, both brb and Minxy expected the “same old” Glory to return. He would have had to stay squeaky clean and probably stick to football related topics and have no heated exchanges for a long time to shake off being watched.

Anyway, brb has made the decision, there is absolutely ZERO chance of him reversing that decision.

Hope this answers your question mate as it needs to be put to bed, I say that in a respectful manner because brb has made it clearer than clear the decision is final. He is the guy at the top of the tree, Minxy has the same authority and she is 100% in support of him.

As far as I could see he posted nothing different to the rest of us in challenging someone else’s posting.

This comes across as really capricious, opportunistic, draconian, tyrannical and mean spirited.

I don't know if there was an agenda. The original offending post has been taken down but you can actually read it in some replies. This one appears be the starting point and events transpired, as can be read.

Thanks for that. I don’t see anything there that is even mildly offensive or out of order. What am I missing? Can you point to one single, specific post that was unacceptable?

I PMd brb asking for him not to ban Glory, brb explained to me, that Glory knew he was being monitored, knew to keep a low profile and out of trouble, yet came back saying illegal this, illegal that, why aren't the mods doing this and that, and forcing brb to spend lots of time on our page again, after a quiet 2 years, he's sick of it, and so banned Glory again without any discussions, a lot of posters on here, played a part of getting Glory back, as did our Mods all said he was a different man, wouldn't go down the same routes, he made all who backed him look stupid, and so sadly, I have to agree, brbs always been right about Glory, he will never change.

In brb's opinion 'Glory has not been back 5 minutes and suddenly he's become some guardian angel', and he was trying to act as a 'politically correct policeman'.

Thus,taking 'brb for a mug' and trying to insult his intelligence.

One thing he did so that was wrong imo is trying to portray Shaks and Chesh in a bad light, which is ridiculous to anyone who has net either of them.

We know he can be brash, but that was ott.

I said to brb I am as much responsible for any arguments between me and Glory, it's what me and Glory do, and he shouldn't ban Glory for this, he told me it was nothing to do with any argument, it was his acting the page policeman, telling the mods etc what to do, I don't need any site policeman, was his words.

Agreed, should be our mods, but they already put themselves on the line for Glory to get him back, they took a lot of abuse for Glorys first ban, so brb as the site supermod decided to take them out of the fireing line this time and act himself.

It does seem strange as the previous evening brb took a look at the politics board and said 'HE WAS HAPPY THAT Bucks has dealt with the matter and issued a warning.

He also said although Glory might have it in for LL, he was right to call out racism

That was the end of it I thought, UNLESS there were more comments between 7.30 Wed night and 10am Thursday morning which needed to be addressed!

How many is plenty?

I'm not 100% sure Jonny. Some have left, maybe and this is only a guess 10 or more. But I shouldn't or can't speak for them, unless they speak up. But I had nothing to do with him being banned, I have never reported anyone or asked for anyone to be banned and I certainly wasn't talking to the supermods.
