Can we just lock the politics thread down. I know politics being discussed on various threads can be irritating at times but it appears to make the discussion time constrained and things move on with the next thread or game. When there is one thread for all this angst then interchanges can become quite bitter.
Finding racism unacceptable...and politely saying so.

That he was calmly, politely and rather eloquently stating that he finds racist comments unacceptable.
Well personally I find them ****in disgusting. Item 2 is certainly interesting glory having a pop at LL. not the first to do that but hey ho. Maybe we should have a racist thread where all the bile could be self contained in one area

But ban all that nonsense on any other thread.
Freedom of speech must be respected, brushing stuff under the carpet does not make it go away.
What you seem to be missing here, is that Glory had been banned for 2 years. If your board needed clearing up of racism, you have three mods, Ell, Bucks and Ristac. If your board needed clearing up, there are plenty of posters on here, who could have hit the report button at anytime and I would have seen it. So why when Glory came back, did he immediately make it his mission to go for LL, Chesh and Shako. Now the latter two, might not think that is the case, but I have Glory's own screenshot words to prove what I say.

I think we should know whether this is a smack on the wrist or vindictiveness, given some of brb’s descriptions of Glory on the Premier League board.
The fact that Glory is banned again and LeedsLover is free to post makes a mockery of the forum As Eric points out - and the moderation in particular.
Glory is banned, he's not coming back, nor does he want to come back, he see's your board as some racist filth or words to that affect. If you want LL banned, just give me the nod bro.
My casual racism thread from 2 years ago was started because we had unacceptable comments in my opinion. Whilst I received a lot of critisicm for the thread it had the desired effect and the the racist comments ceased. If glory hadn't objected to the deragatory term LL used I would have. Because of the fear of accusations of ganging up or bullying LeedsLover I decided to keep out of it. Our mods took over and the situation was dealt with.
That's how I see it.
Like I said and I'm not really sure what part you are not understanding. Glory was banned for TWO YEARS yet on his unbanning he made it his mission to go for LL, I will repeat myself, if you want LL banned tell me. Then let me know if Chesh and Shako should be banned to, because they were also on Glory's list.
