I've had a really sensible day food wise, now your all talking about food I'm going to be backwards and forwards to the fridge all night, thanks for that!. If you have to choose go for chinese, for some reason doesn't feel as unhealthy as Indian. Should you not be having pasta to bulk up the carbs?

Different tastes and all that! I like raw fish because it tastes so good and think there is nothing worse than overcooked fish (or meat in any form for that matter) which is why I like Japanese :)

Agree that Indian is amazing and my fave. Like chinese too but the MSG just ****s up my system, can't sleep for nights after eating it.

I used to gag at the thought of eating raw fish... first sushi i tried was a cooked tuna maki roll. i then made a brave move and went for raw tuna. needless to say i didnt go back to the cooked stuff.

Been there twice now...Once with family, once with a lass (didn't work out - hurt the wallet more than the pride though!) Got the sushi platter the 2nd time and I agree, absolutely unreal! Got crab the last time as well and was really disappointed, tasted like soggy scampi with too much salt...Would avoid it if you're there any time soon!

Indian for me. Chinese is nice, but Indian is much better. I try to get a different curry each time, so I've tried quite a few but have trouble remembering what each one was like. The last one I had was a chicken palak, which was a lot nicer than it sounded, the main ingredient (apart from chicken of course) was spinach, but I thought I'd risk and wasn't disappointed. :)

I was in Thailand in the summer, in Phucket they were selling chicken sticks for 10 baht (about 20p) which were amazing on their own, but you had to ask them not to coat the stuff in MSG - apparently the locals use it on their food like we'd use ketchup! All over phucket they had it sitting at the table in a make-shift salt shaker. I don't mind MSG in food, but having it poured on raw was brutal, actually hurt my mouth!

    Haha ... same here.

Have you progressed to eating any other sort of meat raw? I've developed a liking for Ethiopian cuisine and have tried both Kitfo and Kurt. Both are dishes served with raw beef or steak. Bloody lovely (excuse the pun)!

That's a worrying road you're going down mate. It'll get to the point where taking bites out of animals before they've even been killed. <yikes>

Im very picky with meat, used to only eat it fully cooked. but ive been getting it more rare recently. i sometimes like to nip into a Walkabout and go for a medium rare kangeroo burger. soo nice.

im getting so hungry now haha

Haha .. yeah i'll have to watch out for that. Lock up your pets, lock up your pets!!!!

Seriously though it is nice. Alot more flavour and you get all the vitamins and minerals that are otherwise cooked out. Just have to make sure that the meat is very fresh and has been properly washed to remove potential germ infection.

Even as a kid I liked meat rare so not much of a step for me. The most cooked I can stand is medium rare. Sombody gave me Bombay Duck at an indian restaurant once and the taste almost made me sick. That stuff tastes like charcoal.

Went for Indian and went way over the top (should never order when you're a starving...)

1 Reyzala Lamb (slightly spicy with yoghurt)

    1 Vegetable Pilau

1 King Prawn Chuka & Puree (not sure what this is exactly, but said medium spicy and I love seafood)

    1 Naan

Sounds good, i'm jealous. I'm on an economy drive so no takeaways and the fridge was empty. Had to settle for a fishfinger sandwich :)
